closed Help Required from TSF Members, Especially Those in Germany

Recommended Posts

I have recently discovered a coin that i have been after for 20+ years is for sale - but, sadly, in Germany.

Although the (silver) coin is not of any great monetary value, postage charges outside Germany are prohibitively expensive.

If there are any TSF members who would be prepared to accept delivery in Germany on my behalf, I would be extremely grateful if they could get in touch with me.

Anybody who feels they might be able to assist or offer advice or "tags" - all help gratefully accepted.

I have no idea if this is the correct forum section - my apologies to moderators @trp @ChrisSilver if I should have listed elsewhere.

Many thanks in advance,

My kindest regards,

PL

@Gruff are you finished working in Germany?

I'm not out the regularly enough and don't know my colleagues there well enough to ask them to accept it. Give it another 6-12 months :)

Many thanks to all who offered their help - I am truly grateful.

I have now arranged a potential intermediary for the coin in question...I just need to win the auction now.

All the help offered has been greatly appreciated.

My kindest regards,
