Clearly that's a cardboard cutout of Lawrence standing next to King Charles. What's happened? Has he been bumped off in suspicious circumstances? Is his cardboard doppleganger trawled around events and left in Chards' window to keep his legend alive? These and many other questions don't need to be answered anytime soon. :D

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.
