No, but it's possibly a tempting entry point.  Price was over £2000 a couple of months ago or even more recently, from memory.

But historically it is still relatively high versus platinum and gold.

Could still be risks on the downside.  One for the knowledgeable and/or brave 😊

Seems to be the global economic downturn in general. Price today was $1724 which was quite a drop. May be good news if you'd like to get a 1oz  Palladium Maple perhaps, as I do. I'll wait and see!  However it could be related to a slump in the auto industry demand; the reason Platinum dropped below the price of gold a few years ago?

However theft of Catalytic convertors is still pretty bad Nationwide, where Palladium, Platinum and Rhodium are targeted.

I've been wanting to add a Pd mapleleaf to the collection for a while. I keep a few of the cheapest US online dealers bookmarked to watch inventory..

Usualy, when the price is down, no one has any inventory. i knew some inventory had come back recently.

On the spot drop Friday, the cheapest place sold out immediately.

But I managed to score one at the next cheapest price before they sold out.

I'm looking forward to receiving it

I didn't even noticed that the price had drop so much. But then again, I'm not interested in the metal.

It took years to convince myself to buy an ounce of platinum but only when it fell below USD850 / oz.

For Palladium costing the same as gold, no thanks.

I'll stick with gold. 🤗
