Yes we have, but then you would have to work, until you´re 72, and im not planning on that... 🙂

That's a good reason to build up a stack.

Can you buy silver in Denmark with low sales tax ( VAT ) or are you in a similar position as us in the UK having to look to Belgium, Germany and Estonia ?

There is a 25% tax on silver in Denmark, so i'm in the same boat as you.

Could you make a silver run across the german border? Or would that not be viable?

The tax is only on silver bought in DK.(its a sales tax) If i buy in any other EU-country, it's their tax, that i pay, if any.. So i guess it's the same conditions, as in the UK? The shipping cost, wouldn't justify, going across..

There goes the adventure 😏

I reguarly cross the country with pockets full of cash, but I'm of the half paranoid type buying anonymously.

I might have to go to another country, if i would sell though. Danish law, sees large amounts of PM as speculation,  so profit is taxed with min.38% income tax... I don't Know what people do, to earn a buck, but in DK, it's the government that takes the biggest piece of the pie.. One day, i might be going on that adventure afterall..😎

there is no need to sell for a profit and pay tax on it,  just pass on to the next generations and is there anything due for tax ??

for liquidity, gold is better, as it is more acceptable

nothing wrong to pick up on bargains basement prices !!! great savings doesn't visit so often

you need to have 2 boxes to call it a stack, ya just take the tubes and stack them

I´m stacking for my retirement, not to pass on.. If spot goes high enough i might sell.

It´s a hedge, not an investment, per say..

How are tax rules in Singapore? Better than in DK, i presume.. 🙂
