Bit of a gimmick but my son may like it in a few years.
Interesting that Canada Post used Yodel at this end.  Plus, they were able to assign a tracking number even before it arrived in the UK.  Let's see if a VAT bill pops through later on but I have a feeling I won't be getting one.

Today from my local supplier I bought 2.43 oz of gold, 4 full sovereigns, 6 half sovereigns, and a 20 gram Pamp Suisse Lady Fortuna bar.
 
I also bought 30 odd proof coins from him at £10 a coin, they are mainly the queen mother but I also have the certificates for some of them too.
 
 

Royal Mint Proof RAM with the £20 coin.  Without it I wouldn't have bothered.
1oz Gold Noble from Atkinsons, still mint sealed but I will be cutting it open to capsule it instead and also the usual 2p chocolate coin.
 
Waiting on a Yodel delivery which will be quite interesting.  Has been loaded onto the van but can be delivered any time up until Wednesday.  Parcel is coming from Canada and I'm really interested in seeing how they have managed to use Yodel and what will be the process for VAT charges (if any).

The 1/10 Britannia turned out to be a nice mint sealed 2001 coin so a different design to the usual Britannia -

Today I received full and a half gold sovereign India mint mark both 2014

Today I bought a 2010 high relief proof 1oz kangaroo - Perth Mint.



For the princely sum of £32 delivered.

That puts my high relief proof collection in double figures now.

Had a huge bargain from HGM,
 
There was a 1/2 oz gold bar advertised at 3% over spot, no picture or description.
 
I snapped it up expecting a scratched up old bar with no certicard packaging and this just turned up -
