700/300 split. So, even the "normal" ones are less than the original 1,000 by 300 !

The coins which change designs are a better longer term hold than the brits and phils.

Like many Forum members - taking the opportunity to pick up shield back gold  sovereigns, with the traditional premium over spot seeming to narrow with the recent upwards trend in spot price.  
Got an 1857 (London) and an 1879 Sydney mint -both Vic Young Head.  Both are in better shape than the only other Vic shield I have - which was an 1872 S from back in March. 
Also a nice little Aussie 1/10th gold 2009, with one of the best Kangaroo BU designs (in my view). 1/10th is as small a coin as I want to get, - I only have either Britannia proofs or these Kangaroo/ nuggets in that fiddly size! 

We have just have to start a guinea section after all.

Received my first ever silver delivery today; 10 Maples, 5 Kooks, 5 ASE all 1oz 2016.

Interesting to see that Kooks came in individual capsules, ASEs in their zip locks and Maples freeballing in a tube.  That must be saying something about how Maples are regarded?

lol. Just getting a couple of ducks in a row this year......yen gbp rate is just too good to pass up. this time last year it took almost 200 yen to buy 1 British squid. Now it takes just 134.

Heya @CurryMuncher69 we may have plenty of turbulence to go (Brexit aftermath, US election etc) but coins do look expensive don't they.
