My reasons for buying gold and silver since my first purchase in 2010 have not changed one bit.
The world was in a bad way then, and is now in a whole loads worse now six years on 
Take your pick of any of the holes in the dam that have a sticking plaster over them that could burst through any moment.  
Not a day goes by without another new potential hole being highlighted in the dam.
How long is it going to be until this giant game of financial musical chairs goes before the music stops ??  I haven't not a clue
I'm not looking to profit from stacking (although it would be nice), i'm looking to protect what i have worked for

For a fleeting moment this morning, at a spot price of £11.69, my silver spreadsheet went 'green' for the first time since the heady days of April 2011. Happy days - let's see how long it lasts...

If you have MADE  £10k in (X) industry, invest the hell in it, this is where you have MADE the money - if you've made profit there. you must obviously know what your doing
Folk are lacking education, Folk are lacking enthusiasm, Folk want it handed on a plate
Tie your money up for years in some crappy sub 1% ISA , that doesn't even cover what it will buy you in 1yr/3yrs/5yrs via erosion of inflation. So your cash will buy you less 'things' after the duration.
YAY !!! we have negative interest rates now in Europe and no doubt coming very soon to Uk with our £2trillion + deficit!

If someone who can buy and sell an under price car at auction ? buy for £700 and flip for £800 Flip rubbish from a car boot for a few sheckles more on eBay in their spare time after work ? Can you not buy that extra bit of kit for your business to add an extra income stream ? Upgrade from a home inkjet printer to a dry-lab home professional  prints you can sell dog enlargements/school sports day prints/celebration birthday.wedding. nights in your local club Buy a closed pub and convert it to a cannabis farm in the cellar and upstairs and live off the bar takings as a 'legit' living Go onto new build estates to create a window cleaning round, if folk are daft enough to pay £250k for a shoe box of cardboard new build, your £6 a fortnight cleaning their windows is easy pickings Purchase knowledge, surround yourself with folk who can improve you, learn, read, research,have connections, make contacts. .....................and 10,000s more examples

The latest in the Chinese Classical Garden Series 2016 Liu Yuan.  I will be braking it out of the OMP later.
The 2016 150g Chinese Panda.  Ended up buying it from China.  I passed on Muenzdachs.de original cheap pre-order since I was going to order it from EMK and expected a similar price as with previous years.  Unfortunately the price kept creeping up and EMK's offering was €279 which was more than I wanted to pay as it was a significant increase from previous years.  Luckily it is still a reasonable price from China.

Been away this past week and came home to a few packages which my dad was kind enough to take in for me.  I think he just wanted to hang around my place to get away from my mum.
2016 Isle of Man Angel Reverse Proof - Quite nice.  Need to dig out the normal one to compare with.  Each master sheet comes with a hologram but I don't know how many coins there are to a master sheet.  Pretty sure my ten has been cut from a larger sheet.
2016 Burkina Faso Crocodile - Yet another one of the many many coins from Africa which MCI are knocking out at the moment.
2016 New Zealand Mint Endangered Species Giant Panda - I'm glad the series is now complete.  They were releasing far too many each year.
2008 1/4 Chinese Panda - Big thanks to @Kman spotting this at Atkinsons and posting in the deal section.  Came in a capsule but has been well looked after so I'm pretty happy with it.
 
 

Got my sovereigns (x5) delivered from Atkinsons, all newish coins as requested (2004 and up) - filled my second tube!!!

Received mine from @sovereignsteve . Very pleased with them,  and with the easy, straight forward deal.

Received two more of these cook island kilos from silberling.de bought when spot was 10.60 - finally some luck on my timing! Standby for silver prices to collapse now that I have jumped in again 
Also received a 2015 sovereign bought on Ebay with the 20% off voucher a while back, tests as 22 ct gold, right measurements all looking good. £178.50 delivered. Took ages to sort out because of my miscalculation on the required paypal balance which led to an echeck being initiated. Seller was very accommodating though, excellent in fact. Worth the wait at that price. 

A couple of series 1 1oz proofs, picked up for what I would consider acceptable prices.
