Build/queue up paper-gold until you have enough and spreads are appealing enough to move that over to physical. Often there's a couple of percent or more difference between 1oz coins and Sov's/fractionals.

I see what you mean but I’ve never had an interest in paper gold or ETFs.

Always and only physical for me.

    £2.5k at a whopping £17.95, charlatans.

What James said. I've already had to use that fee but if you purchase sovereigns on TSF including SD post it works out cheaper than any dealer price at present. Per sovereign.

Over £50K value in combined two shoe sole inserts impregnated with 14 one ounce coins in each insert (next best thing given that the streets aren't paved with gold).

As for a brick door stop now being over £750K

    💯

Don't use post + insurance myself, but isn't the insurance limit something like £2K

It works out better to purchase in bundles now imo rather than singular items imo. Depends on what you getting.

    Holding at £1890..

  3. If it's not made from a precious metal I don't think you need to stamp it but it would be helpful for the user to know as some folks are allergic to gold plating/silver plating. Stainless steel seems to be the most common metal used in affordable or some costume jewellery and then they usually gold plate it. I'm sure there are a ton of articles and jewellery related forums that may have more insight on the matter.
