I have just read the full thread. Are the products *really* made in Germany and then sold as being from the Oxford Mint, with a Union Jack on the packaging?
That would be extremely odd - especially as there is something on the back of the packaging about keeping the U.K. together post Brexit.
Can you imagine the owner going onto Dragons Den with this sort of story…
Yes. Seems that way. Though they sold out with very little marketing so I guess it’s a much desired product.

Please do.
Yes, please do @NextDayBullion. As buyers we are keen to learn more. As things stand I would not buy anything off you. Far too many concerns, not least the ridiculous pricing.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Well I’m a long time lurker but decided to create an account to finally have my day on this. I have an account manager at Royal Mint, I spend a lot with them every year. And this is what I received as my 2oz Gold Pistrucci…… the wonkiest edge I’ve ever seen on a coin!
Needless to say I went a bit bonkers at my account manager. I was also one of the cancelled 5oz Petition crown customers so I had a fair amount to say. Not sure I have an account manager anymore hah! But seriously £5.5k for that? Seriously close to giving up with RM
That’s awful. If it is any consolation my account manager has changed about three times in the past few months. The last one ignored my emails and the new one is offering me items that I have never previously expressed an interest in. Sales rather than collector support. Poor, very poor.

Send them to NGC and you will get a 70* - those clowns would grade a chocolate coin 70 if sent one in.

Mainly 1947 but I have a few 1935. Would sell at spot plus 5% plus postage, if interested. I appreciate that you may (probably will!) get a better price elsewhere! Given where gold is going I would only sell at the 5% above level.

I have some 20 Franc coins. What is the spot on them at the moment? Maybe we can work something out.

Just had a look at the website where this is listed. £74.70. It has sold out, so I guess there is interest…unless that is part of the marketing. Speaking of which, the marketing does not feel accurate. The gold bar is made in Germany. What is the connect with Oxford Mint if the item is made by Liepziger Edelmetallverarbeitung?
-
All comes down to price for me. What is the pricing structure for these? Not interested unless close to spot. In my view premiums would not be justified.

Do you have the certificates for the BYB bars?

A lot of mints do 0.5g gold coins and recently I am seeing 1/1000 of an oz coins being sold on PowerCoin website too.
The camera work is fantastic you think you are looking at something the size of a sov!
The 1/1000th oz gold coins cost £21,32 each and £7 delivery to UK.
Wonger is selling these for 40p each.

No. Dont even talk about the GMT here. Take its name out of your mouth now.

Due to high demand and the price now over£309 for a quarter sovereign then royal mint has introduced the new 1/8 sovereign in a blister pack along with a magnifying glass and an honesty certificate.
The magnifying glass isn't for the small sovereign as that's impossible to see now it's for the certificate so you can read the small print which states there is a piece of gold Infront of you somewhere.......
Joking aside, they already do this with the 1/40oz coin!!! They just don’t bother with the magnifying glass.

Yes sure I understand. What do you have shields gillicks a mixture?
Yep, a mixture. But let’s speak separately. PM is better. Message me when ready to buy, but also keep an eye on sales pages as others are likely to offer better prices (depending on the gold price and what you are looking for) as I’m not a dealer.
