Something a bit different - a few lovely old square silver dirhams dating  from the Almohad dynasty that ruled over North Africa and Southern Spain from 1130-1269. 20p for comparison allows you to see the detail and size! Just fun to have when we all think of early Victorian coins as "old"..

More 1 oz proof kooks, the embyonic collection is starting to take shape.

 

The last 2 BU RAM Roos to complete the date run.  I've taken them out of the cards so they can sit with the others and the cards will be stored with all the other coin packaging and bit and pieces.

Today I received a 500g silver bar from Atkinsons. It's quite a satisfying weight to hold, and being pre-owned it was a decent price. Think I'll keep an eye out for more of these in future.
 

After 15 months of looking actively for this set, or the kilo set which I missed recently from Germany, the last 2oz proof coin to complete my date run is now in my collection

Nice stuff Mondy. I have to check though - are you hiding a bunch of Scottsdale silver bars under that nice Scottsdale wrapping paper? Or do the Belgians provide that Scottsdale wrap as a teaser ?!
