Michael Marsh sadly died already many years ago, the newer editions now debated are based on his work and revised by Steve Hill and other co-contributors under Token Publishing, who bought the rights from Mr. Marsh's widow. The entire thread above is worth reading, and regrettably Steve Hill's response to the direct inquiry regarding the matter is not exactly clearing the issue.

It’s strange, surely at a mint they’d keep very strict documentation about how many were minted you don’t just mark down 58,875 and years later go “oh look there’s 3 sacks full of them over here” ….

Somewhere between BU and proof? I don't know.
NGC list 11 at this grade and 13 in higher grades. Bullion mintage is 750,000.

I think it's already too late in Europe & the UK - our ruling elites appear to subscribe to a world view based in la-la land or they are indeed machinating some dark global conspiracy, I honestly don't know which. The weird propaganda that spews and seeps out of all of our government/education/cultural/media institutions would frighten the 300 but we have been so subsumed in it for so long we either don't notice it or keep our heads down in our respective bunkers and try to avoid the worst of it. I am guilty of the latter, just trying to get by without incurring the wrath of the powers that be by having as little as possible to do with them. I am incredibly lucky as I live in relative tranquillity in the middle of a forest with large dogs and shotguns for company, but I do despair for  those who have to live with the fallout of the great multi-cultural experiment and associated mass herd migrations. If only the champagne socialist luvies who help indoctrinate our children had to endure these 'rich rewards' - I have a few examples of the species in my own family and they drive me nuts with their refusal to discuss the effect of all this c**p on the 'working class' they profess to champion. Islamic fundamentalist militants want to destroy any other doctrine - even if it leaves the entire world in ashes - to prove the 'superiority' of their interpretation of our invisible friend upstairs. However it must be said that, meanwhile, their shenanigans appear to be having a dramatic effect on the price of Silver and Gold. "It's an ill wind" as they say, even if somewhat cynically.

Yeah sorry off topic a bit in this reply, but it indicates the length of time that this is going to go on for, and that people will eventually realise at some point, and probably when they do that gold will drop back as this settles into the clean up operation.
This guy is an actual hero, he is the son of a Hamas founder, and he turned into a spy for Israel giving up plans to foil Hamas attacks saving innocent peoples' lives.  He has some serious beef with Hamas, and he doesn't mince his words for the western fools shouting their anti Israel rhetoric.   This is his message to the people of the West who are protesting right now!  It's bang on.
