I get the argument for the full, but I can't justify that amount on an impulse buy of my first proof.

The 5 coin set works out even better value per sov even though it's likely worth more in the long run.

You could buy the 1/4 1/2 and full Sovereign at £993, cheaper then the price of the 3 coin set 

Likewise, the full Sov at £529 seems decent also
