6000 years of history tends to indicate that gold will always have value whereas bits of paper or a box of 1's and 0's don't in the long term.

Will the local dealers accept CBDC's? if not there's going to be a problem, there are already queues to use the local cash machine at midnight every Thursday/Friday morning.

Potentially, but until the financial system is reset/destroyed and recreated in a way that doesn't allow for excessive risk taking and profits by the banks (privatise the profits and socialise the losses) then we will be doomed to repeat these problems.
I saw that from 2008, no lessons were learnt, the CDOs were rebadged to another 3 letter acronym and more profit on riskier bets were made by the banks.
No bank CEO went to jail, none of the traders either.
Until there are consequences for these reckless gamblers, the issue won't go away, they'll find ever more clever ways to destroy our wealth.

So this will absolutely repeat until we stop it properly.

The pattern would seem to indicate a large financial shock event is over due. So akin to the GFC or the Dot Com bust. Which will entail the drying up of interbank liquidity and therefore a tightening of lending to the general population. Recession/Depression in bound as markets seize up and people stop spending into the economies to keep them ticking over.

So that will then force all major governments to turn to QE infinity and inflation (FIAT devaluation) will roar like never before

I've seen a youtube video showing how to get the silver stain off your fingers, from memory I think it's hydrochloric acid but I'd probably check first before I tried it.

Bamboo grows around 30cm/day, if gold went up as fast as bamboo the world would probably be in real trouble.

Liquid Metals UK presents 1.2 Ozt 999 fine silver STEAM PUNK COG
Antiqued and comes with metal COA
This design starts off as a 3d design which is printed in house. Then sand cast before being hand carved to the finished shape. It's then polished back before the steam punk design is Lazer engraved. Another polish before the tumbler and then antiqued before it's final polish. A heck load of work involved in these pieces which is reflected in the price

You don't need my permission to post but you've made 700+ posts ITT talking about everything from onion soup to psychopaths and colonoscopies along with inane numbers, while not adding anything to the discussion about gold price action. There are pages and pages of you talking about your favourite subject - YOU - not gold
Making comments like, "I'm a net negative", and telling everyone you will block them if they don't block me, is more than a little gay. If you stop shoving things up your rear end you might have less need for colonoscopies. Just my 2 cents and still more relevant to gold price action than any of your posts 👍🤷‍♂️. FWIW the gold price changes 86,400 times a day

Today (well, yesterday) I received two boxes of silver building blocks. There are six 1oz blocks in each tobacco-tin style box. They are branded Monarch Precious Metals- I have seen them mentioned on this site before.
As a lifelong fan of Lego, I was slightly disappointed to discover that the silver blocks are a bit smaller than a classic 2x4 studs Lego brick, so they can't interlock with Lego, but they are fun to stack with anyway (they interlock with each other just fine) and I am sure I will never run out of ways to stack them: two 2x4 Lego bricks can be connected together in 24 ways; with three bricks there are 1060 ways; with six bricks there are 915,103,765 ways and the number of combinations of 12 bricks is (currently) incalculable.
Here are a few pictures of the bricks and their discovery by Benny's Space Squad (characters from the recent Lego Movie 2) and their attempt to make off with the bricks before being caught- a tense moment ensues before everyone decides to make friends and that everything is awesome...

Must confess I didn’t know this coin existed until I happened across it on eBay. 2013 BU Britannia - I mistakenly thought these had all been the conventional design until the 2019 version.
