  1. I would recommend creating a “wanted” thread in the trade section. This has worked very well for me. Good luck!
  2. I’m in with the same prize as usual over the years, but with a different look! One 2021 1/10oz gold Type 2 American Eagle.🎄
  3. In my experience, most collectors of slabbed coins don't care about the boxes or COAs. I even helped a forum member in the UK buy a slabbed coin here in the US, and he had me toss the box and COA, and just ship the slab. It's understandable, as it can amount to a lot of extra storage. I am an exception though...I have a strong preference to keep the box, COA, and capsule with my slabbed coins, and I'm definitely willing to pay more for an NGC slab that comes with all of this intact.
  4. The Queen’s Beasts started with the bullion…the Lion in March 2016. The proof Lions showed up in December of that year as a 2017 dated coin. They eventually settled in to the proofs coming first with the bullion a month later or so (except the 10oz silver and 1oz platinum bullion, which were released later, and stayed on an every 6 month schedule…I hope with these they do all the bullion together so they all have the same date.)
  5. I've had plenty of these coins with damage similar to your lower picture, and I don't believe that it will impact the value on a bullion coin like the Britannia. I don't suspect you'll have any issue selling these as silver bullion. If they were Queen's Beasts or something else that might develop a premium it would be more of issue. So overall it's really annoying that they are in this condition, but I don't think it will be an issue over the long run. The only exception is that "V" coin above. I've never seen anything that bad!! 🙁
  6. If I were in charge of the mint there would be! I’m not sure if they will, but if they do I would assume they stick with the same pattern and release it with the 10oz silver.
  7. I’m not sure, but if I had to guess I would say yes. It would be immensely popular in this size, and it seems easy enough to keep on the same 10oz schedule meaning it would be early next year. The kilo bullion sold out very quickly at all the dealers I use, and the 10oz would have the same benefit of a wide diameter at a lower price point. I would certainly buy it!
  8. I’m guessing that the listing was created in preparation for later, and it was bad luck on the part of the Royal Mint that someone found it so quickly 🙂 The 10oz silver and 1oz platinum bullion Greyhounds should be released very soon based on their prior release pattern. I’m watching for them both!

    Hello!

    Welcome to the forum!
  10. I personally think this has to do with the change over in design this year. Eagles tend to have a higher premium to begin with, and this year many buyers seems to be loading up on the “last year of design” and “first year of design” coins. I’m not one of them (except for a single coin of each I purchased 🙂), and I like other coins more given the premiums. However the dealers wouldn’t charge these premiums unless the buyers were buying, so I think it’s just supply and demand.
  11. Makes sense, and voted with that in mind. 🙂
  12. This is certainly interesting to ponder, but I do think your survey needs another option: “They’re not going to do it”, which would get my vote. This is purely looking at it from the standpoint of those in a position to decide. Given how indebted many governments are, it just wouldn’t be in their best interest to move away from fiat. In all all fairness, I would personally much prefer to pay a mortgage in future fiat than future gold or crypto!
