Yep, 100% agree. My planned timeline is longer but have already moved little bits and pieces on here and there. I hope to be able to pass things on in the long run but it’s there to call on as and when needed so by very definition is meant to be cashed in/flipped, at an as yet undetermined point in the future

If it wasn't for flippers nothing would happen or ever appreciate.
We are ALL flippers, we just have different timescales 
Some a credit card billing date period, some will be multi generational gap

I believe the crisis is impacting many who may have/would have bought these including flippers.

Abit like the monarchs coins,first one was in stock for days  
Then when in hand got people more interested overall.

I purchased a 2022 proof 1 Sov directly from RM on release day (arrived in Jan) and another again from RM in Dec as some became available again (arrived in Feb).
Yes the 5, 4 and 3 sets flew out the doors compared to this release.

Will be interesting to revisit this thread in 5 and 10 years time

The mintage figures, the economic crisis we are currently in and the fact the flipping market has burnt so many fingers in recent months makes me think this may be one for the future just because it’s a special design and for a specific event. Time will tell.

From other posts I believe it is now pay in full now and wait for delivery

I've a clear £10k limit with RM with my credit account added £7000 earlier in day with credit card, so technically got £17,000 in available credit for the X2 five and x2 four sets 

If those 5 coin sets aren’t sold out by tomorrow I’m expecting that everyone who would pay over the odds for one will already have a set (or more than one set) and then the PF69 graded ones might be on offer for less than RRP in March/April. With the PF70s just slightly more than RRP. That 1,200 mintage is almost double the previous 5 coin set. 🤔 
Why haven’t the dealers mopped these up?

At least it'll give folks returning home from work a chance to buy.

I'd argue that it hasn't even been 24hrs - not a bad amount of product shifted... but yes, for the first Sovereign of King Charles III isn't a runaway success either 🤔

The exact same scenario as the 2022 proof. Didn't sell out rapidly. Everyone got fearful and thought I will just wait because they did not see an instant sell out. The Queen croaked it and what do you know everybody flocked to get one.
If people don't see an instant sell out they wait and when it eventually sells out they get FOMO. 
By the time the coronation comes around you will be sitting pretty with these. Every time RM have hiked price or mintage a few more question this. Those who sat on the side will pay the inflated price. IMO

The amount I’ve cancelled with them due to speed is a joke. Everyone else seems to get there’s months before me. I expect the same in January hence considering canceling my purchases and buying on the secondary Jan-Apr 

Well, if they didn't sell a lot, maybe they can speed up the despatch time? Mind you, I'm still waiting on my Silver Charles 50p from back in October.
