Just look at these photos. “Burn marks” are appearing after NGC grading. Fine coins until they were sent away! Any examples you would like to share? The below photos were from a Facebook group, not my coins. I’m just raising this issue for other potential graders to be aware. NGC and/or Royal Mint are not taking responsibility for this!! Yet! Who would buy a PF70 with this mark on it???

I’m seeing small time Pokémon game card graders using dust free environments on a minuscule budget with better QC and care taken than these huge corporations (NGC). I’ve had similar. That’s why they say buy the coin not the grade. Some 70s will look better to some buyers than others I guess 🤷‍♂️ Congrats on the grade though! 70 is a very good indication 😃

It almost looks like tarnish. They should be using gloves to handle coins no matter what. It could be something as silly as someone having egg sandwiches for lunch and then handling a coin. The tarnish could be sulphur reaction or something.

It’s all over the Facebook groups at the moment. People send a perfect silver coin to NGC and then it comes back looking like this (not my coin). We think it has something to do with NGC’s coin holder for inspection or their NCS conservation process (dipping coins to remove particles before grading). 🤷‍♂️ *Possibly the sonic sealing process 🤔 * Either way, until it stops I’m not grading any more. NGC are blaming RM and RM are blaming NGC. 😬

🤔 they are spending a fortune on weapons now (and refugees) after all the printing for Covid. I can see the £ dropping further but I don’t think the reason of “due to poor” retail is the reason why. 😉

Hi mate, I cancelled Sunday night and had the refund by Wednesday, I did threaten them with the credit cards chargeback services though. I guess they can only receive x many chargeback complaints per year etc 🤷‍♂️ Otherwise specific card companies may not allow future buyers their purchases. Mine was Barclaycard. No idea if the threat worked or just coincidence

Cancelled my £8.5k of orders a week or so ago mate and now I’m just trying to make up a set of Monarchs from that series and nothing else. So not a complete boycott.

Got my card refunded today, so only 3 days but now they have to resell what I ordered.

Some of these coins might be available because on Sunday night I cancelled £8,500 of coins I had in open orders due to RM being unable to post out coins they already have in their possession and already minted (apparently). So either they are liars, inept or both 🤷‍♂️ I’m done with them. I didn’t even get a reply from my account manager but I know they got my email because the orders have been cancelled. Still wait for a card refund now from December 2021!!! Fuming 😡 Likely to send them a Chargeback request if not refunded before Friday. 🤦‍♂️ How not to run a company.
