Thing is I’ve been burnt by RM charging me and not delivering for 6 months on various releases (I cancelled at that point because they still couldn’t give me a date), this affected my decision to cancel my sets too. I’m not paying for something and hoping to receive it again 🤷‍♂️ Hopefully they are now on top of these issues for all the other buyers. Fingers crossed 🤞 for all!

I hear more 5 coin sets might come back into stock shortly!

So in 18 minutes (ish) they sold 70 x 5 coin sets 🤔 Something fishy going on there! They’ve probably removed them all and will update stock one by one until they are all gone. Make it rarer to make sales. It didn’t look good with stock numbers increasing on this set and they will have known about this. That or a dealer took all 70???

I’m cancelling my 5 coins sets today, so add a couple more to the stock left at RM (and other dealers and eBay). I’ll pick them up in PF69 in the secondary market for less I’m pretty sure (this Memorial sovereign release). Role on March 2023!! I was speaking to an American collector in the USA yesterday and he wasn’t interested in this release at all. Seems like they have a big dislike for Charles and he has the same outlook of picking it up in the secondary market. A lot of this stock is going to go straight to NGC and then buyers will need to be found. If it was in demand by collectors why wouldn’t they all be gone now? My Acc Manager offered me anything I wanted the day before release and she has never done so in the past, in fact. Getting anything has almost been impossible. Sounds like she’s struggled to sell to her contact list also 🤔 Add to this, paying for it now and hoping I get it in January 😂 has put the final nail in the coffin for me. I was waiting 6 months+ for a 2kg Three Graces which I had paid for and was promised I’d receive every month (due to packaging issues). I even offered to collect the coin from Wales raw!! Nah I’ll just buy later thanks.

Hi Paul, My card has been charged and shows as pending. Are they just checking cards and then actually charging them in January do you know? I might keep the faith until January I guess. Proper “squeaky bum time” on this release 😂 Cheers 🍻

The amount I’ve cancelled with them due to speed is a joke. Everyone else seems to get there’s months before me. I expect the same in January hence considering canceling my purchases and buying on the secondary Jan-Apr

If those 5 coin sets aren’t sold out by tomorrow I’m expecting that everyone who would pay over the odds for one will already have a set (or more than one set) and then the PF69 graded ones might be on offer for less than RRP in March/April. With the PF70s just slightly more than RRP. That 1,200 mintage is almost double the previous 5 coin set. 🤔 Why haven’t the dealers mopped these up?

Just had a call from a random at Royal Mint trying to offload a Piedfort 2022 Sov and the 5 Sov Matte BU one. So they still have stock if you want one? Could be returns though. 🤷‍♂️ I declined, I’m sure I can pick one up cheaper in the near future 😉
