2 x Victoria YH full sovereigns and a 2002 half sovereign.

Today i bought this beauty! Thanks (again) to my American friend @Jester! 

Bought two 1/2oz .999 gold Official Belgian Medals minted by the Belgian Royal Mint today.  Just below spot, in original blister.
1) Commemoration of King Baudouin I, Year 1993, mintage 12621 pcs
2) Crowning of King Albert I, Year 1993, mintage 6031 pcs
Also in the same deal 2 times the silver medals (below spot) and 2 times the bronze medals. All in original blister.

BTW: what do you think about coins/medals in blister.  I like the coins far more without the blister, but you lose numismatic value.  For these I paid below spot, so I shouldn't have to worry to much about getting them out of the blisters, but the second piece has same numastic value on top.

A 2016 proof 1/4 Manx with the 90th Birthday Mintmark on the reverse. 

1/4 oz unicorn - was going to buy tomorrow, but figured there may be a little Catalonia price bump overnight.

Queens Beast PF70 5oz Silver Lion. It can join my Unicorn, which still needs grading.
Takes a bit the fun out of returning substandard coins to the mint and then hoping for a good grade for the one you keep; but this one cost me less than new from the mint (!)

The opportunity to buy another one of these fantastic Sovereigns came along, couldn't resist it. 
The one on the right is the latest addition...rubbish camera.

A lovely 1818 crown in EF condition. obverse maybe shows some signs of a little past cleaning, but hey don't send it for grading

Some Britannia years I was missing, and the 2008 boxed set (didn't really want the smaller ones - but I love the 2008 1 ounce design!), and some early years (1989, 1993, 1996) silver eagles.  Nothin special - just some more semi - Numi silver.  

My 100gm silver bar arrived today from @BackyardBullion I'm delighted with it. The packing and delivery speed is immaculate.

An absolutely stunning piece by@BackyardBullion. I had to prise this from my wife's fingers to take a quick photo, it feels absolutely wonderful to hold. 
 

Grading results back from Numi (thanks - as ever!). 
The good news - PF70 on the 2016 gold Libertad proof 1/4 and Perth Mint sovereigns. Splendid.  
The bad news - even after sifting through a few to select, only got an MS66 QB Griffin 1/4 and a bit better (MS69) for the QB Dragon.  I have more work to do to secure them in MS70! The shame.....?

sorry, no.
the 59 tends to have quite a broad lower edge to the headband. In certain light on certain photos, it can look as though it's two lines but if you look closely, you can see they are the two edges of a raised part. This aspect does tend to vary quite a lot in YH sovs.
trust me, I've looked extremely closely at loads of 59's
