  1. Just £10 credit I've listened to the live draws and some people have won big prizes numerous times. Makes me wonder how deep their pockets are. There was one fella from Northern Ireland who had won two Rolex watches in a short space of time and another from the South of England who's had 4 motorbikes. Someone else has had a few cars. That's a lot of money put down that's paid off for them wheras i just buy a random ticket or two every so often.
  2. Only just recently Rev Comps have included gold and silver prizes in their draws. I've only ever won a tenner on my credit when I entered for a recent draw on a car but a work colleague won a 4 grand watch five years ago. I dread to think how much I've spent on tickets.
  3. https://australiapostcollectables.com.au/stamp-issues/cocos-keeling-islands-currency-of-the-clunies-ross-era Here's a bit more history into these coins.
  4. That looks like a 5 cents piece compared to the coin on this link. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces70460.html
  5. The latest deal in the papers at one per household per year. I'm wondering if they mean one per year at this price, then if next offer is lower or higher you can buy again?
  6. He asked Bully what the meaning of balloon knot meant and once he found out he was never heard of again!
  7. I bought this 1865 shield back half sovereign die 23 in town yesterday and noticed the die crack through the number six on the date. Certain light and angles show it better. These are best close ups I can manage, so apologies for the quality.
  8. Today I picked up this 1865 half sovereign (die 23) from my local bullion dealer. Can't get a decent close up with my phone but it looks like a die crack through the 6 on the date.
  9. I see the bullion Swan has been released in Australia but any idea when the release date for UK?
  10. Picked up this South African 1/10 oz 24 carat gold 2003 Lion that's from the Natura series.
  11. I did wonder that as when the series first started I did see somewhere that it was for five years. As a coloured version is now out it would be odd if they pulled the plug on the bullion version.
  12. https://www.sharpspixley.com/buy-bullion/buy-gold/buy-coins/queen-elizabeth-ii-memorial-sovereign-2022-five-coin?product_list_mode=grid&product_list_order=recommended&p=2 Not sure if previously posted but Sharps Pixley have the five coin set in stock.
  13. https://www.perthmint.com/shop/themes/animals/swan/ The 1oz silver coloured version has a mintage of just 1,500. This is all I can find online. A nicely finished coin but I'm only collecting the standard bullion version to carry on with the series.
  14. Does anyone know when the bullion version of this years swan is due on sale in the UK?
  15. This will be the first crowned sovereign then. Would this mean every sovereign onwards will show Charles wearing a crown or for this occasion it'll be a one-off?
  16. They last visited the forum on 23rd. August last year. They probably gave up on the forum after selling their 1918 Crown for an absolute fortune
  17. It won't matter what branch as head office would split a monster box between it's branches but you're not telling in case you're onto a winner
  18. Which Costco branch did you get them from? They won't be fake.
  19. Sounds like a hookey piedfort, avoid 😂
  20. Picked up this 10oz silver Queens beast completer whilst at my local bullion shop. Got it for a decent price and they threw in the 1oz silver Noah's ark for free as a thank you after getting a couple of forum members ring them recently who have bought from them after I posted about a gold deal they had the other month. A big thank you to the anonymous forum members, cheers🙂
  21. I use Wise and only 3 years ago they wouldn't allow me to transfer money from my Wise account into my wife's Wise account. They allow it now fee free. I usually transfer every payday roughly £400 from my HSBC account to my Wise account, which half goes into my Euro funds then Sterling for the remainder. It makes it easy using my Wise card in Croatia instead of HSBC blocking my card whenever over there.
