  1. Today I picked up this 1865 half sovereign (die 23) from my local bullion dealer. Can't get a decent close up with my phone but it looks like a die crack through the 6 on the date.
  2. I see the bullion Swan has been released in Australia but any idea when the release date for UK?
  3. Picked up this South African 1/10 oz 24 carat gold 2003 Lion that's from the Natura series.
  4. I did wonder that as when the series first started I did see somewhere that it was for five years. As a coloured version is now out it would be odd if they pulled the plug on the bullion version.
  5. https://www.sharpspixley.com/buy-bullion/buy-gold/buy-coins/queen-elizabeth-ii-memorial-sovereign-2022-five-coin?product_list_mode=grid&product_list_order=recommended&p=2 Not sure if previously posted but Sharps Pixley have the five coin set in stock.
  6. https://www.perthmint.com/shop/themes/animals/swan/ The 1oz silver coloured version has a mintage of just 1,500. This is all I can find online. A nicely finished coin but I'm only collecting the standard bullion version to carry on with the series.
  7. Does anyone know when the bullion version of this years swan is due on sale in the UK?
  8. This will be the first crowned sovereign then. Would this mean every sovereign onwards will show Charles wearing a crown or for this occasion it'll be a one-off?
  9. They last visited the forum on 23rd. August last year. They probably gave up on the forum after selling their 1918 Crown for an absolute fortune
  10. It won't matter what branch as head office would split a monster box between it's branches but you're not telling in case you're onto a winner
  11. Which Costco branch did you get them from? They won't be fake.
  12. Sounds like a hookey piedfort, avoid 😂
  13. Picked up this 10oz silver Queens beast completer whilst at my local bullion shop. Got it for a decent price and they threw in the 1oz silver Noah's ark for free as a thank you after getting a couple of forum members ring them recently who have bought from them after I posted about a gold deal they had the other month. A big thank you to the anonymous forum members, cheers🙂
  14. I use Wise and only 3 years ago they wouldn't allow me to transfer money from my Wise account into my wife's Wise account. They allow it now fee free. I usually transfer every payday roughly £400 from my HSBC account to my Wise account, which half goes into my Euro funds then Sterling for the remainder. It makes it easy using my Wise card in Croatia instead of HSBC blocking my card whenever over there.
  15. @danmc82 made me a small copper brick a while back. You could ask him.

    Harrington and Byrne

It was advertised this week in the Metro, been on offer for a few weeks now.
  17. Look the same to me, it's just the lighting that's different.
  18. You can have these back as I'm fed up with the junkmail from Harrington & Byrne's still reaching me.
  19. Cgt exempt coins depending on the country you live in. Sovereigns are a safe bet (UK) and what you can afford.
  20. You don't sell fat juicy steaks though
  21. I'm usually walking over to Costco whilst at work and always check their gold prices but these prices don't make any sense. Is the sovereign price now subsidising the Britannia's new price? I took a picture on Friday, which showed the lower sovereign price, which they had on display yesterday. They're never the cheapest bullion dealer and I'm not sure if their prices are consistent between their stores.
