Just bought a 1/4 oz gold queens beast and two 2 oz silver beasts , just could not resist.

after one year I could buy this 5oz silver coin "Chinese ancient mythical creatures" cheaper than issue price. Also bought the 1oz version. the 5oz coin is my favorite high relief coin now. :-)

@motorbikez has them all of course and can tell you all about them. They were minted in 2004 and 2005 as well but only issued in 2 coin sets.

Wasn't really planning to start on these, but they are nice - and quite low mintages: 1993 (3290)  and 1995 (600)  2 ounce silver Kookaburra proofs. I think they were minted sporadically - and stopped altogether with in 2003? I am sure some of you guys probably have a full set! But these are my first two. 

My 1/4 oz gold 2001 lunar snake arrived in the post from Arshimo.

Wasn't whether to put here or non PM section.  These photo blocks just turned up which I'll be using for the gold and silver notes.  Will be putting up some shelves over the weekend for them.

My eBay bargain 1/4 oz horse turned up, all good.

At last my coin arrived, It was my birthday a few weeks ago so i decided to treat myself, Little did i know when i wrote "a Russian gold 50 Roubles" in the topic "Your Top Gold Coins For 2016" How hard and stressfull it would be to firstly to find one and secondly to get one at at resonable price. In the end i had to buy one from the Russian Federation and wait just under three weeks for the coin to arrive. But now the coin is here im very chuffed

A few nice pieces of gold today..the 1974 Krug for under £880 -  cheaper than most from dealers now. My first shield sov - an 1872 Sydney, and my first $10 Liberty Head eagle - an 1879 San Francisco. Bit of a splurge ...but good value, and some nice historic gold. Have to confess - I am a bit of a fan of the much maligned Krugerrands!, possibly because it was my first gold coin when I started in 2014, so quite happy to add more. ?
