Another 1/4oz beast roared in.

 

Received my first silver crown today and apart from it being cleaned it has a fair amount of detail and I got it for a reasonable price.
Also another Canadian silver dollar for the collection.

Some random pickups including:
1/4 and 1/10 Britannia 2016
1/10 proof Britannia
1/10 2003 BU britannia carded
1/10 angel
2013 proof? quarter sovereign

Luxembourg 20 Francs 1946  600th Anniversary - John the Blind .

Just messing.  It could have been though.  If you're going to send a £500 coin in the post, you should really spend the extra 50p on a decent envelope.  Luckily the coin was still in there despite the rip/hole and he'd used Special Delivery so if it had fallen out he should have been covered.
1/2 oz Platinum Eagle.  27mm coin but managed to squeeze it into a 25mm ringed T capsule.  If it hadn't fit, then it would have had to go into a 27mm H cap which I think is a little big for such a small coin.

Try a Mexican 50 Peso next to fondle - 41.6g in total weight /1.2oz of fine gold - lovely

Just my monthly sovereign for October, a 2015. 

1oz 2017 Somali Elephant in Gold & Silver.  Bought them about 10 days ago when spot was much higher  Nevermind.

Few 5g panda silver notes   that Nanjing mint will display at coming Beijing international coin show .

As usual, sorry for the poor quality photos but these just fluttered in. Time for annual gamble on mintage numbers. It's always fun every year as no one knows.

The 1849 US gold Type I open wreath $1. It's really small - but really rather nice...with some lustre, but also some scratches. Mind you - it's been around since the 1849 gold rush?

5oz Scottsdale Tombstone Nugget. Pre-Owned  From Atkinson's

2016 65g Nanjing Panda finally turned up.  Has taken longer than usual to arrive.
Much better panda design than the 2014 60g Two Lovely Pandas aka Two Bald Pandas.
