I recon this coin is about as as close to a 70 as even you will get a coin, its a belter!. I cannot see any blemishes either side. However I am selling as proof so there is no miss communication.  
There are only 260 of these coins made. This is Number 244.

Let's try this one again - I think this has to be a pretty good deal now. Photos are from March - coin is in storage but I can take some new ones tomorrow if a buyer wants me to.
A 1/4oz Gold (9999) 35th Anniversary Proof Nugget with COA. This is a pretty coin with partial rose gold gilding and with a max mintage of 300, but I've decided to be boring with respect to my gold stack. I've never had it out of the capsule and I don't imagine previous owners have either, but I can't guarantee that. I can't see any marks on the coin itself so I'm selling this as is in new proof condition - please forgive the intensely mediocre photos! (The capsule also looks pretty clean in person, but not perfect.) Can you really call yourself a member of this forum if you haven't owned one of these at some point?

Apologies if wrong thread, but while it's good for banks to be helpful in tracking down scammers, I'm not sure we want them to be more "careful". Pushing the risk of our decisions of whom to trade with on to the banks (by making them refund from their own pockets) would likely lead to them deciding that they don't want to enable our transactions at all.

Excellent News. Just heard from the bank and they have refunded me the entire £850!!!

I know one other member who was effected by this scam who successfully got reimbursed by the bank. Does anybody know how the others fared with their banks?

The market is flooded with sellers at the moment. I think consensus is that gold prices will fall again. It explains why supply is so high versus demand at the moment. buyers are not there because they think gold will fall, sellers are dumping stock as they think gold will fall, I do not remember a time when so many quality bullion gold coins were offered below spot like I have over the past week. 
 
We will see what happens if gold prices breakout to new highs, maybe sellers might sit on their stock as they expect to sell at a higher gold price in a strong market whilst buyers compete for what little physical is offered in the market. We have seen that a few times in the past couple of years so it will very likely happen again 
there is that old mantra: be greedy when others are fearful
