We had an auction on this once before.
Let's beat it!
We have a sealed jar of 999+ (purity s better than 999) silver shavings from Silvertowne  - Weight of the silver is 10 troy ounces. 
Although perfect for melting, this is novelty item that I could not see myself opening.
It's my last jar. 
 
10 ounces {311  grams) of 999+ silver.
Please see photos for an idea what it looks like. It's hard to see it from a sealed jar. 
 
Auction Starting: NOW
Starting Bid: Spot Price (pre VAT) - £185 
yes crazy low (as always) and NO Reserve
It's not something you see every day.   
Minimum Increments: £3 (whole numbers)
Auction End: Tuesday, 12th December at 21:00 (see notes), as to give non premium members a chance to bid.
Add P&P of your choice to winning bid. 
 
Notes:
Action End - If I am not able to be present at closing, I will select the winner as the person closest to the End Time without going over. 
                      If I am present, the auction will have a soft close, meaning I will make three final calls around the end time.
If the call is interrupted, I will start with three more final calls. This will go until no one else bids and 
                      the "hammer" drops by my writing "SOLD".Increments: If a bid does not meet the £3 minimum raise, it will be invalid and the previous bid will be the current high bid. 
Payment Due: Payment will be due immediately after the auctions closes,
so please be present at the time of closing. If this is not possible, arrangements need to be made asap.

I have a batch of 25 italian coins, with denominations of 500 Lire. All of them are 11g of .835 silver, in circulated condition, so small scratches or dings are to be expected for their age. Anyway, silver is silver and I am selling them at spot price for pure stacking weight, not for their numismatic value. Please study the photos.
