  1. If you're after 1/4oz Brit's, RM directly have been cheapest for those for a while. They don't offer 1/4oz bars for a comparison though.

    QB silver Completers

Bullion completers are unlimited. Proof versions are limited. They were available in multiple sizes as well.
  3. That's the going rate for RM proof 1/4's... I've bought a few pre-owned near bullion value just a year or two after release. They aren't generally good investments but as long as the original owner got some enjoyment out of it that's what matters. 🙂
  4. Thanks for the quick response! Great price but I think that's a bit too noticeable for my collection so will leave this one.
  5. I'm interested in the Rooster. Do you have a clearer picture showing the scratch?
  6. I also have one of these, from a different seller, and there is a small mark on the bottom edge due to the manufacturing process. Doesn't bother me at all...and I'm pretty fussy! 😄
  7. 1oz silver now available at silvertrader. Looks like the cheapest option for anyone that doesn't want the carded version. (Remember 2% off with bankpayment code as well) 2023 Royal Celebration Royal Mint 1oz Silver Bullion Bar (silvertrader.uk)
  8. Think I prefer that background to the waves. Shame it doesn't seem to be used on the larger Brit's as well.
  9. Can only vote for one option. As a non-premium member, longer auction times allow us to see them before they finish. (Premium members may see that as a negative!) I generally prefer single items. Tubes are way out my league. Bundles often contain one or more items that I've already got or don't particularly want. And lastly, I'm almost never online late enough to win an 8pm finish auction. I'd prefer a 'daytime' finish. But I suspect I'm in the minority with that one! As the old saying goes, you can't please all of the people, all of the time.
  10. What's happened to that poor koala? 😬
  11. Thanks for the replies everyone, have had a couple of offers via PM that I've accepted so am sorted for this week! 😀 (Will still be on the lookout for the others over the coming weeks so won't close the thread yet.)
  12. Thanks for the offer but I've already got one of those. 🙂
  13. Looking for some world gold around £300 this week if anyone has spare? 20 Franc Rooster or 20 Austrian Corona or similar... Condition must be excellent. Don't mind a restrike. (Could also be interested in a 2023 1/4oz gold Yale or 2023 1/10oz Koala if well priced. (Can't buy from the dealers due to delivery requirements)) I live at a slower pace than most members on here so please drop me a PM and I'll reply eventually. 😄 Thanks!
  14. RM might be fixing the errors on their sales page. They could have sold out of the carded ones and need to change the images but seems odd they've taken down the 10oz page as well. RM are cheaper than Chards for a single silver bar as bullion postage is free from RM. Silvertrader has just listed the 1oz bars as 'coming soon', though I would assume his won't be the carded version.
  15. Hi I've only recently become aware of Mexican Libertads (through TSF!) and had been hoping to buy a 1/4oz gold this year when released. Pleased to see they were available in the UK at my preferred retailer this month, but was shocked to see the premium on them!! Around £520 for a 1/4oz. I assume that's down to the low mintage numbers? Are there any retailers that offer them at more affordable prices or is that about the going rate? Thanks
  16. And proof for me! 😄 I do prefer the shiny background in the real world, just a shame they don't photograph as well.
  17. Received mine direct from RM today. Looks almost perfect fortunately! (Small spec of brown card on top of assay card lol) Doesn't have the 'unique serial number' as far as I can see?
  18. Given RM QC, I'm not sure that's a reliable test. 😄
  19. I had the same experience with customer service...useless! Have asked again whether all of theirs will be carded or just the first few. Apparently my alternative bar is due to be delivered today direct from RM so will be interesting to see if it's carded... And hopefully in considerably better condition than BYB's. I can understand the odd mark on packaging but how does anyone pack it in that state!?
  20. Me too. Although I doubt many people have pre-ordered them...maybe I'll be corrected on that. I do want the blister pack as I'm only buying a single bar and have others presented that way. I'm now waiting to hear from the RM about whether theirs actually come presented as pictured or not. I seem to remember that the Diamonds bar and Three Graces bar came presented for only the first few direct from the mint, possibly the first 6000?
  21. I've got a milky KC3 cypher - must have happened within just days/weeks of minting! And a Philharmonic that went milky in storage. I am a bit of a perfectionist and don't like milk spots or toning, so have shifted more towards gold now. (Just waiting until I end up with a copper spot on one of those lol...)
  22. The memorial design on the front is in memory of QE2. The reigning monarch pictured on the reverse is KC3. 🙂
  23. I treated myself the 1oz silver panther but wasn't impressed with it in hand so didn't buy any more. Think it's the 'aggressive' look...not a fan of the lion either. Also went off boxed proofs pretty quickly as I started collecting PM's due to limited storage space! The Yale looks a bit more daft though, I'd be tempted by a loose one of those in 1/4oz gold at the right price. 😁
  24. The blister packs seem to get damaged so easily as well. They do look nicer to start with, and are more of an 'experience' if giving as a gift. But every time I see them used on eBay or even on here they're usually delaminating and unsightly... 🙁
  25. I think some items on here are struggling to sell as most people have lower budgets currently and are having to be more choosy about which items they buy. Brit's are a bit boring! (Sorry lol...) I know there are a few 'hoover' members, but they have the budget for larger items with lower premiums. Tenths were ideal for those of us with limited budgets, but the premium on tenths seems to have shot up lately...so much so that BBP is now competitive! I agree that you're probably better off trying to sell these on eBay if you've got reduced fee's this weekend.
