Not a huge milestone for some and not a brag to anyone else but a goal Iv slowly but surely been chipping away at recently. Haven’t been buying much of late as life sometimes gets in the way but eventually reached my 1oz goal which I’m pretty pleased about with a recent gift from the wife. 
Was never my intention but those baby silvers are playing catch up with the golds.

Top of the page isn't always accurate. Besides it's the silver monitoring thread, what do you suggest, lego or tobacco prices?

Bought a couple of sets this morning at the B of E, but not the low serial numbers I was expecting ☹️!
However, they will look good in the album. 
Charles has waited 64 years to get onto the Bank-notes and I’ve added the Coronation 1/4 to the £50 note. To me he looks really dignified on all of them. ‘Mumsie’ first appeared on the £1 note in 1960 at 34 years of age, so have added one of my ‘Gillicks for comparison, and to stay on PM song ! - The 1960 sovereign was not minted that year!……
PS nearly forgot. Gold was about $35 in 1960 so I believe a sovereign could be picked up for about £5-£7! However, for some that was a weeks wages. The cheapest I’ve ever paid is £45 🙂

Tenerife is OK for winters but does have periodic sand storms blow across from continental Africa that isn't good for the lungs. Hope to visit Poland myself soon for the first time. Love the food in Portugal. Older and longer retired than you born in the year that “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee was published, "retired" in my mid-40's.

My other half is Polish and there's some stunning parts. Zero illegals allowed and not many snowflakes at all. I am going to test many countries over the next 5 years. Lots of (frugal, sensible) holidays - feeling areas and walking/cycling for miles and miles, then lots of 1 month stays for the top contenders, then will maybe do (as a random example) summers in Poland, winters in canaries, a few months in UK in between until something "feels" right. 
I've a long way to go to find what's right, hence the 5 year plan (which could end up being 3 or 7 years). I think it's important to be open, relaxed and flexible so it doesn't become a chore 😊🤞

Well Directors got nothing. Not a penny. Oh, yeah... we could have taken a loan.... that we pay back... with interest. Immoral people took it and left the country.  The rest stayed and suffered. We re opened and got increase in wages, stock, corporation tax etc. I could go on.
But payroll staff and self employed got 80% during the scam. Directors didn't even get 1%.
Many companies were still expected to pay a percentage towards staff and be closed, making no money at the same time.
Economy finally reopened and prices exploded because everyone was freeeeeee from a virus that the real cause of death wasn't even a fraction of a percentage (heart attacks and cancer were all blamed on covid. It was utterly bollocks). Directors suffered the most in business and still do. Conservative have discourage businesses. 4 words I thought I'd never say! When Labour are in power we are *****d!
Don't get me started on the energy scam. The price caps that were a false economy as they raised them every few months. This country takes the absolute p*ss out of it's citizens.
I have a 5 year plan. And the UK will not be part of it apart from my properties (because I'm not selling them to start again elsewhere as it's taken me decades of working 15h days to get there). I'll be taking my profits / spending money to a country that has the least snowflakes and immigration. Nowhere is perfect, but the UK is near the bottom of the pile. I only have to look around in any town centre to see we have a decade - probably two - before Britain could be great again (even then I'm doubtful). 
I'm very bitter about the UK 😬 (but I know we aren't the only ones who are a joke. Canada have had it bad too).
