Just out of curiosity paul, do you know if there were VIP tours today at all. I wonder if they would have been able to struck a gold mounted strike your own if there were any VIP tours today.

Really nice COA on the two coin set😉. However, I think they are going back to the mint as one coin has a chipped edge and the other has frosting on the mirrior fished reverse... What do you guys think?

I am sending the pen back too, it had micro scratches all over😭.

Funny that the coin took days to arrive from Wales, and I am still waiting a dozen coins from the mint whilst the pen took one day to arrive from the Netherlands lol.

Actually good point, no QC sticker for me for some reason lol. Mabye the COA is too nice😉. In actuality though, due to the foam insert being their if the QC is done after the coin being encapulsated, it's hard to spot the chip on the edge. I hope they can either remint it or give me a perfect set asap.  

Regarding reminting, does anyone know if you keep the orinigal COA? I would love that lol.

Got mine two coin set on thursday, but was too busy to post about it.

Unforuntetaly, although I got a very good COA,arguably the best😉, I think they need to go back to the mint, as the jody clark reverse has some frosting on the mirror bits and the mounted portait has a chipped edge.

More regret from me lol

Had one preordered at rrp, too busy and missed the email and did not join in all the fun today but sort of having FOMO now for not trying to get another one...

The gold was only offered to Mint Marque members, I saw a post by andrewsl76, and asked my AM about it. That's how I secured it, there is actually a recent thread discussing these:

I found it, it's the 2 gold 50p set... However I don't know if it's the mint website being funky again, or did they just uped the mintage on that set from 50 to 70...

The Royal Mint website works in mysterior ways beyond my comprehension, I still can't see half of my order, just got an email(finally) for a dispatch confirmation for a order that I can't see... So I don't know which one would it be.

Happily on the flip side, the 1kg and 2oz silver gothic portait just mysteriously showed up in my open order section!😊

@AndrewSL76, @GoldDiggerDave Did you guys all have the continuation option. I am a lefty too hh,I even include emoji in my emails to make myself seem more appoarchable lol. YES I think I have found the nicest person at the mint as my AM unforuntetaly he was sick yesterday and his colleague did not reassure me anything... However he is back today, and just sent me a long email comforting me and assuring everything would he fine!!! So I should be all good now, knock on wood!!! Thank you guys for the advice and others for PMing me with info, so wholesome!!!

Wait, @AndrewSL76, @GoldDiggerDave. Have you guys recieved calls, or emails or have open order showing up in your account regarding the second coin. I am stressed to the max now with not hearing anything from the mint...

Thanks, another thing is my open section is so **** up sorry for the profanity, but I don't see half of the stuff that AM told me he ordered for me and charged. I was told it's a know issue that 1. only a few coins is shown under a order, and you can't see the remaindder. 2. RM can't properly sync the AM order with the regualr web orders so sometimes your order takes a long time or never shows up on the webpage... Is that the case for everyone, if it is they shouldn't definitely try to get it fixed one day...

Are anyone in the same place as I who bought the first coin through their AM, then didn't recieved the email nor calls.

My account mananger also is on slick leave as of today... Really bad timing, called this morning his colleague wasn't quite as helpful, I am really scared now regarding the second coin😭.

Yea, I was told that the MM email would be out on monday, but I guess nobody got it. I guess they might have been too busy today??? Well I am less scared now as I am not the only one...

That is really bad... Why can't royal mint fix these I assume easy to fix, yet very important issues. Wait, what did you mean by you had it in the bag then, I thought someone mentioned on wednesday that the portait up as an open order on their account?Is that what you meant?
