People will start to buy again once they get their heads around the raised spot price and understand that this weeks high could be next weeks low.  I imagine it will take a while with silver though as it's been wallowing around at such a low spot for so many years.  Everyone is still a bit sceptical that this is a flash in the pan and spot will fall again. If it doesn't, FOMO will take over.
As @Petra keeps telling us on an almost daily basis : "just keep buying"  😁

However, a spoilt ballot paper is supposedly still counted.    You could speculate that they count the spoilt papers to keep tabs on the level of discontent from the plebs, and to forewarn if the numbers get too great and become a possible threat.
This time I intend to spoil my paper and make it crystal clear that I do not consent to any of it, and will not under any circumstances choose parasite A, B, C, or D to lord it over me while he/she/it runs off with all the tax revenue in his/her/its pocket, while bending all the rules or making up new ones to benefit themselves, illegal immigrants, the police, and other criminals .

Someone suggested a few days ago that the west has lost, or is losing, the power to manipulate PMs, and it is this which is the main driver of the rises in spot. This stikes a chord with me as I can't find any other reason for it which isn't a bit too flimsy to be believeable, and especially so when one considers the rise in silver spot as it is even more manipulated than the gold price.  The dollar and all western currencies are on the decline and the influence of the BRICS would seem to be on the rise, add that to all of the gold purchasing by certain central banks over the last year and we might begin to see the answer..

Think I bought 4 cars for under the price of a Sov now including a Mk 4 Cortina for 40 quid!🤔

I'm not sure when rates will drop, but I think both US and UK will definitely drop before their elections this year as it would play a significant role in their votes.
This would be guaranteed bullish for metals.
