  1. I don’t think there are any NGC MS70 2017’s Karl, I think 69 is top pop except for the SOTD’s
  2. 2017 Full Sovereign graded PF70 Ultra Cameo by NGC Comes with original box, outer box, leaflet, COA - even the foam protector insert is still present Looking for £1050 posted RMSD Reduced to £995, will leave up for a few days before returning to storage BT or PPF&F, UK mainland or NI only This was the first time that Royal Mint used Pistrucci’s original masterpiece with the full inscription on a Sovereign since 1820. Struck to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Benedetto Pistrucci Sovereign of 1817 and based on the original design of 1817 with the plumed helmet, St George and dragon right, surrounded by the Order of the Garter with a buckle, HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. Reverse inscription translates as 'Evil be to he that evil thinks'.
  3. Wasn't really dippy enough, though yes Was not buying the dip though, the joys of cost averaging is you do not have to
  4. Just a heads up you have set this to withdrawn, no issue if you changed your mind just commenting in case it was an error mate
  5. Small date run of shields received today The two rares are pretty worn but still decent. The 1859 has an interesting 8 in the date, not sure at the moment if it is a straight over-stamp or maybe an 8 over 3
  6. Welcome to the forum, I am not generally a fan of gold bars but I do like the Geiger stuff so would likely pick that over a Pamp, the exception being the Wonka bars which went crazy popular
  7. The last of my 5g bars for sale, 5 gram PAMP Lunar Dragon 2024 Gold Bar £315 posted SD or £310 posted tracked (buyers risk on tracked) Lowest dealer prices currently Tavex at £323.18 plus post - https://tavexbullion.co.uk/gold/5-gram-pamp-lunar-dragon-2024-gold-bar/ and BBP at £327.60 posted https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/gold-bars/5-gram-gold-bar/pamp-2024-year-of-the-dragon-5g-gold-bar/
  8. Cant be bothered to check all the comments, but in case its not already been mentioned date for this is 8th May https://www.instagram.com/heritagerarecoins/reel/C31ADvwOODR/
  9. Dip followed by settling about £1575
  10. I see no obvious sign this has been mounted - does it have solder on the rim that is not shown or did you remove it from a mount? If there is no solder and it was a clasp mount it should not make any difference. Its a common date but £410 is currently only £12 over spot, a reasonable price but not a bargain. @CallumHSLimited has a post up for young heads for the same price and the 1885M on the bottom row of his post looks better, I also liked the look of his 1886M & 1887M
  11. I think you can consider the money in a savings account as 'cash' I think most of the people commenting are not talking about physical cash just accessible fiat currency which would include a savings account as per your last line. I think what you have put here would work absolutely fine. I worry less about having cash I can access immediately and prefer to tie mine up to improve the rate I can get on it, usually in fixed term ISA's or even my pension scheme. I have a £12k credit card limit and would happily abuse that while giving the 90 day notice required on my current ISA. I keep a few hundred in physical cash in the safe but that gets spent at coin fairs and I slowly build it back up again. Its not really an emergency fund though just a way to buy a few sneaky coins without the Mrs seeing the withdrawal on the account - shhhhhhhh
  12. One of the 1887 is a Sydney not a Melbourne Callum
  13. These days though the price movement seems to be on expectation not action, so price will likely move less after any rate cut than it does before
  14. Yea, has the box and COA as well Its just weight to me and bought on price alone to store money, will likely be for sale next time I need cash, if I remember I will tag you
  15. Todays arrivals, not bought from the forum
  16. Actually a better price that the 1/4oz on its own I suppose They have the 1/4oz at £750 Using the same gram price that makes the 1/10oz £300 and the 1/20oz £150 So £1200 total. Meh, still a massive con
  17. On a positive note I actually like the design this year, I will be sure to pick a 1/4oz proof up in a few months for about £450
  18. Related question - does anyone know what year they stopped doing 1/10oz proof Britannia on their own, maybe @Brit2023 or @BritStacker? Thanks
  19. I suspect someone called them as a chap put it on Facebook in one of the pm groups, I did try and pm you but could not get the message to select your name, looks like they were quick enough to avoid another royally screwed video this time 😆
  20. Yep its gone from the page with them all on too https://www.royalmint.com/britannia/commemorative/2024-britannia/ Only took them an hour I guess, thankfully took far longer on the 5g bars
  21. Has to be an error given the price on the 6 coin set which works out to £2662 an ounce (I think)
