  1. Assuming bullion grade, yes that seems reasonable. The 57 & 59 can be moderately difficult to source in a good grade. If they are EF or better you might be able to get a bit more.
  2. Todays arrivals thanks to @StBeesSilver & @Auronum As you can see I had the 'mm' perfect sized capsule for my lovely spider round, which I have to say is an absolute stunner
  3. I agree, you have a real eye for the photography side @DrDave
  4. Ordered, thanks for the link
  5. I like the look of that grading guide, something I have a severe lack of knowledge for, might have to treat myself
  6. Thanks for the link, some interesting stuff. Not enough for me to change my buying habits but food for thought.
  7. It was actually me that said this @LawrenceChard not the poster - the poster is asking if he should keep hold of his because of the high price they seem to be going for or try to cash in (how I read it anyway). Personally I do not think the poster would get anything near the quoted price (£1750) hence me offering mine for a much lower price and pointing out that Blackpool's finest dealer has then considerably cheaper than he/she had found them online
  8. Welcome to the forum, nice to see a new member jumping in with both feet and investing in a membership from day 1
  9. Should sell like hot cakes, if you offer free delivery 😜
  10. But its going to the moooooon, bookface told me
  11. Talking of oddities from the Aussie mints I have had a few slightly oversized half sovereigns over the years, always from the aussie mints and always George V Never really visible to the naked eye and only apparent when you try and put it into a capsule they are a super-tight fit. Latest was a 1915S from Britannia Coins last week - I think that's the third or fourth I have had like that over the years
  12. Yes I expect it will do very well, limited mintage coins tend to and the Royal Arms is an ever popular classic, At £1580 though I will have taken out a decent profit and can move the money into something else. I don't tend to be big on 1oz coins and have been slowly selling them off to concentrate on sovereigns and 1/4oz coins, just have the 2021 RA and a 1oz QB Completer left (and a 1.10 Maple I bought on a whim ). In no rush though, not enough to be bothered to do a sales post anyway.
  13. If you want 3 I will sell you another one for £1580 + post Actually, mine is a 2021 not a 2020 Also, they are £1655 at Chards https://www.chards.co.uk/2020-royal-arms-one-ounce-gold-bullion-coin/13137

    PF 3?

While most people will shudder when I tell them this....I have bought three coins I wanted that were graded and (very carefully) jail broke them - none were super high grades btw I do still have a couple of high grade slabbed coins But then I also take coins out of secondary mint first day covers (Harrington and Byrne, London Mint etc). I do keep RM coins in their presentation or blister packs but never secondary mint presentations.

  17. Welcome, 400oz of silver is very good in that time, and I think your gold to silver ratio of 66/1 is at a nice level. Maintaining it may give you storage challenges in the long term, I certainly have found that and my ratio is currently around 30/1.
  18. These are my main two, my spinks is a bit out of date but I do not use it for prices so have not bothered replacing it
  19. Picked these up today at a local jewellers
  20. Todays arrivals, Jubilee head full and half from @Sh97if Others best value half’s from Britannia, always seem to get a 1982 when I buy best value bundles 🤷‍♂️.
  21. It would not bother me in the slightest for a bullion round, weight is correct pm's are troy ounce not ounce
