I loved Buffaloes. Still do but sold mine and now focus on Brits, Tudor Beasts and Perth Mint Lunar. To be fair, I think you have to love a coin as well as see its intrinsic value. All opinion though. 

I have tended to buy the 1oz when can afford and the 1/4 oz. They both seem to sell consistently better on the forums. And I’ve also seen that Britannia now sell far quicker than foreign coins like Eagles, Buffaloes and Krugs. CGT I guess.

I have recently seen Pandas, Krugs and $20 struggle above spot, but Buffalo always achieve much more than Britannia prices

For low cost (over spot) stacking purposes, the Double Sovereign, The two Pound and Half oz gold tend to be best. I do not understand why more people do not buy them when price over spot tend to be less than 2%. 

THIS - I've been stashing gold 2023 QE2 Brits instead of KC3 of all flavours, subject to price, for some time - but no real idea if they'll ever command much of a premium, it just seems more prudent investing. 
I've been surprised how many pop up TBH.

They might end up popular if people start collecting the 2023 QEII editions. People might want the 1oz, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10 to complete their sets. I think I want this 1/2 now 🤗
