Received this 1930 Melbourne sovereign today purchased from Eric @drakesterling graded AU58 by PCGS.
The Melbourne mint opened in 1872 producing sovereigns (and intermittently half sovereigns) with the M mintmark which can be seen above the date on the reverse. 
Mintage levels were in the millions in most year but started to reduce leading up to it ceasing sovereign production in 1931. Only 77,588 coins were produced in 1930 and 55,809 in 1931.

Interesting that they look a lot smaller compared to the 1oz Britannia, although they are definitely the same weight.

Didn't feel so much a winner, when I had to meet @DodgyDave near the toilets in the Trafford Centre... I gave him something, he gave me something in return... we both left, using separate exits.

Long time no see! I've returned today with an auction for a Gold 1 Chervonets (10 RUB).
This coin weighs 8.6g of .900 gold, a fine gold content of 7.74 grams. It was minted in 1977, and this coin in specific bolsters really great quality, no major scuffs, and would most probably grade Mint State if sent of to NGC. It has some amazing cartwheeling lustre which unfortnately I was not able to capture in the first video.
