  1. If i was a betting man i'd say it's the cost of omission before things take off
  2. it still wont be high enough for todays premiums
  3. hmmm, one of the pictures above seems to show horses with webbed feet, but a bit more natural than the weirdness on the coin
  4. I think you are spot on - The mint has changed to a diversity/woke style in the past few years. I think it's safe to say they aren't going to be pushing femininity as much for now. I'm all for everybody getting represented, but if I feel beauty is being left out to be inclusive then my wallet will be staying in my pocket.
  5. Just saw this version of the 2023 Kookaburra in colour - looks amazing
  6. I don't understand the market for these as they are so overpriced. If I wanted to buy a non capital gains exempt coin it would likely be something cheaper than this like a 2023 kookaburra or this Australian Lunar Rabbit - something with quality which isn't a rip off 2023 Australian Lunar Rabbit
  7. The royal mint needs to tighten their standards - nowhere near good enough More professionalism, less greed seems like they keep pushing out poor products for high cost with no real direction or thought process as to order, weight and keeping sets unique and important so buyers feel like the collections they are buying are not tarnished by bad choices and are worth the investment.
  8. I just feel like these random proofs are so over priced and the resale value will likely suck Also, the mintage is way too high to make me even care about spending the money. I like the design, but would never over pay for a random that has no high level prestige, like a queens beast.
  9. They need to focus on getting decent bullion out, not being lazy and wasting time trying to sell overpriced proofs which aren't even a different design. I doubt anyone wants this proof. I would eat up many more bullion designs at these prices, but the mint takes months to bring anything out.
  10. Did the mint try and pull a fast one with this bar as it looks way below par of the great engravers series imo, they saw demand for a three graces bullion bar and did this in house compare this with the design of Una and the lion - it's night and day Jody clark was the artist for the other great engravers coins and bars, this is a different inhouse artist
