Same type and weight however isn't the same date i.e. year of mintage.
Many popular coins have different mintage figures and some, of the same type, could cost a lot more as scarce and more for collectors rather than stackers..
For example you can buy a fairly recent silver Mexican Libertad for say £30, but the 1998 version might cost 5 times this.
Boring silver Maples tend to be amongst the cheapest bullion but find a 1997 for less than £50 these days and I will join the queue to purchase.Exactly what i was gonna say. Lots of variables.

I’ve just written to Royal Mint customer services to see if they are still issuing refunds or if I can exchange them for any of their products. Not expecting favourable response but will let you know their response.
Good luck pal

Yes, I agree it is probably not Eon wanted to hear, but it is my usual honest and reasonably thorough analysis and conclusion. I did only comment because I was invited to, although not by Eon.
I could have made it sound kinder, perhaps "I really loved your videos, but was hoping for a few more facts and snippets on information...", but it would not have been honest. Sure, Eon might have preferred it, because we all like to hear what we want to hear.
Actually, in the last year, someone asked me, in an e-mail, to let them have feedback (this was private, not public). I thought about it, and decided against. The person would not have liked the feedback, and I doubt would have changed anything. I saved myself a good half hour of my time.
If someone asks on a public forum for feedback and reactions, one should be prepared for, and actually want to hear, any negatives. Otherwise there is no point asking, unless it is just a sneaky way of getting some free publicity.
I could have omitted my comments about "ct's", but what I said actually happened; I spent time wondering what ct's meant, and if Eon had taken the time to spell the word in full, using 6 character instead of 4, I would have understood perfectly and instantaneously. Forcing your readers to try to work out what you are saying is lazy and arrogant. I am aware that most people nowadays don't know how and when to use apostrophes, but if you are going to write commercially, then at least try to make an effort to learn.
I note that Eon has not bothered to correct his original "The device will give a very different reading across ct's regardless of whether they are silver or gold. This is because different ct's of gold and silver have very different conductivity readings.", despite the helpful grammar and readability advice I provided free of charge.
I did get a response, which you have probably seen saying "Thank you for your opinions Chards, sorry to have bored you.". This surprised me, and I thought "Is that all?", but I see that Eon has gone on to give some facts and explanations later, so my comments were possibly not entirely wasted.
I still don't know where XRF testers are available for only $5,000 though.
I also agree about encouraging entrepreneurs. I am particularly keen and hopeful that a wider range of precious metal testing methods and equipment should become available, and at affordable prices.
🙂
I don't think he's bothered about info/comments/input but when I was reading your reply it just sounded like you was being arsy.
Obv text speak is not normal speak and I'm sure you to sitting at a table with a nice IPA/whiskey you could have a very good involving chat.

I wasn't and still am not a regular watcher of SpongeBob but years ago I was sitting in this one cafe, just relaxing. They had SpongeBob playing on the TV and during one particular episode I simply could not stop laughing. I was laughing so hard I was crying and I felt like a complete idiot, and probably looked like one, but it was just too funny.
Sponge bob is brill.

Hello,
I'm new to stacking/collecting and stumbled upon EMK. They seem to have a lot of "EMK Exclusive" items that I like, and apparently you can't get elsewhere?
I'm wondering if anybody in the US has ordered from them and can tell me if it's worth it? From my research you don't have to pay duty or import tax on gold, and if it's under $10k you don't really need to do anything. Silver you do need to pay tax? I also read some issues where the postal service will mistakenly tax you on gold?
My order will be maybe a few silver coins, and one 1oz gold coin (maybe even less). What's the tax on silver? I should choose FedEx over DHL for shipping right? Any other suggestions or feedback is appreciated.
Thank you
No idea what the charges will be shipping to the US, But in UK we get a 20% VAT charge on silver.

9ct white gold I assume on the top one? It's got the control mark with the weighing scales so I'm assuming European in origin. I can't tell from the other marks which it might be, see here for examples from countries which use the control mark:
https://theassayoffice.com/international-convention-marks
Sweden perhaps?
I was wondering what the scales where, Thanks for the info. Defo 9k white gold.
The bottom one i presume the 6L is ring side and 14k is 14k gold

I volunteer my services as baby sitter of the coins. When do you want me to collect hahah

I'm in a sim position but I also have investments in other areas too.
I just collect what I like and what I think is a decent price, if I make my money back I'll be happy.

Nice to hear some who's done what I'm currently doing, I over pay on my mortgage every month and aiming for it to be done by 40 "Currently 35" and be fully retired by 55.
I currently have savings for both my kids so when they get to uni or want to buy a house they wont have to worry about the fee's/deposit - again trying to set them up for a good future but I also show them the gold/silver I buy and why before it goes into the safe.
I think education on all aspects of life is vital and unfortunately most of us learn far to late in life to benefit from the knowledge "Myself included".
I'll stop talking c**p now HAHAHAHA
