Got a 2oz yesterday manage to blag the 1oz too from RM at lunch time today so I am happy. Looking forward to seeing them

I nearly had 1 and 2oz silver. Got some weird security message and wouldn't let me proceed to the payment page. Got a 2oz on the phone in the end, at least that's what she said. Sigh.

Anyway I won't be buying unlimited mintage coins, even though its just until the end of the year. They should at least had something limited. I will take a look anyway if I Manage to get through the queue

Agreed. I bought some trainers recently, partly because they were very limited. I wear them and it's not something I would ever sell (who would want my smelly trainers). Same applies to coins. There isn't anything "special" about owning something that is ten a penny. Surely we all want those limited/hard to get coins in our collections ?

I am in, if I manage to get through the queue, for the silver 50p anyway. Not fancying the chances though. If its unlimited, I won't be buying.

Not for me. Another series, another "register your interest" for a coin that's also part of today's release. The design is OK, but don't want to get dragged into a 3 coin series which is very average. I would have preferred a much lower mintage release, considering the amount of jubilee coins they have pumped out.

I need my royal mint queueing / new coin excitement. There hasn't been much recently that's got me going (ahem). There is a table somewhere with the proposed release dates. I have had a good look but can't find it. Anyone have it handy please?

A little one I picked up in a coin shop. It's very shiny, it's been cleaned. But, I like it!

I am looking to send quite a big batch of coins away for grading, probably in the next few weeks. I normally send to NGC but this has clearly put me off. Has this been raised with them? Has anyone seen a response ? This clearly looks like a big, business affecting issue. I am not a member of PGCS does anyone have any UK agents they can recommend?

And for me this comes down to the definition of "perfect" in respect to proof coins. It's easy to have unrealistic expectations. As I become more experienced, I am also becoming more realistic. Some of the significant zoom pictures I have seen, are people looking for problems imo. I get it. I just think we have to be accepting of minor issues which don't really detract from the Coin. It's everyone's rightful opinion to what's acceptable to them. If it bugs you enough send it back.
