Just spoke to the royal mint who say that the transaction has been declined and they had the funds on hold and she just released the funds so they can be returned back to my credit card. As for the cash fee she said it's between me and my bank so I'll speak to my bank tomorrow. She then advised me to not use a credit card to purchase bullion from their website in the future lol

Same thing happened to me last week. However royal mint have said the order hasn't gone through because they don't accept bullion purchases via a credit card but on my credit card statement it shows the transaction has actually gone through. Tomorrow is my day off from work so I'll have to call both my bank and royal mint to figure out what's going on and where my items and invoice are if the payment has gone through

I was quite interested in doing a Good Standard date run but I think the royal mint stopped doing those coins as bullion. Maybe I'm wrong but 2021 was only in proof version? For a few years I have been collecting every royal mint 50p, £1, £2 and £5 coin Bunc package. The 2009 Kew Gardens Bunc and 2009 blue Peter Olympic 50p both are quite expensive (250-300 quid each) The 1/10th gold coin from different mints and the gillick sovereign is what I'm focused on currently

Now that the price has gone back up some coins that were out of stock are now magically available to purchase at certain bullion websites 😂

I sold my sets a few weeks ago on eBay and made a lil bit of profit. Kept a set for my own collection ☺️

Managed to order a sovereign Thursday morning before the price rose and it arrived today 😄

Yeah I had the lighthouse ones and the hertburger ones too. Ruined my 50p flopsy bunny and my 50p penguins lol

Have you got gold in the black coin flips? I use to have my brilliant uncirculated 50p coins in flips and after awhile they would slightly ruin the coins, give it a foggy appearance. So just a lil caution

Three Britannias from @arphethean and a 🐯 1/10th ounce (they're so tiny) from Atkinsons while the price of gold dipped yesterday. Fast delivery and great service from both 👌

King of Thieves is a good one that I watched on Netflix the other day. It's about the Hatton garden robbery from a few years ago. Good cast too (Michael Caine, Ray Winstone and the bloke from daredevil) A few nice gold bars in the movie

As I am in the UK i should mostly stack royal mint bullion but how often do you guys mix it up and stack foreign bullion like maples, francs, eagles etc

4 coin Bunc collection. I have stopped buying their 50p silver proof, they almost never hold value. This time next year somebody will be selling them on eBay for half price lol

All mine are going straight back tomorrow morning I have also seen a pride colour 50p that looks alot worse.
