Hello and a question!

Hello my name is Dilan just popping into say hi. I have some Gold Brittanias I would like to sell to members here because ive noticed as individuals trading we can both get better price for each other then going through a bullion company.

Does anyone here know also if the silver forum allows people to meet in person for trade instead of posting an item? I live in London and preferably would like to meet and make a trade instead of going through the hassle of postage and getting insurance

OK..I will try and answer. 

First look into getting a membership (  even if only for a couple months ) it shows commitment on your part and gives full access to the forum. 

Don't sweat the postage or insurance, use royal mail special delivery- fully insured for £10-£11 ..buyer pays this anyway, not you.

Yes it's possible someone in London may want your items and be up for meeting in person ( no harm in this ) but it will still likely be a bank transfer after coin is seen... with all due respect, you could be anybody and floating round London with pockets of cash isn't the brightest idea for the buyer. 

This is why I'm saying don't sweat postage, now because you're new you will have/be expected to post coin first to established members,,or use @BackyardBullion intermediary service for a small fee ( he does the selling on your behalf after authentication of items) you get paid before items are then sent on to buyers.

Hi thanks for the response and information. Yes I was always expecting a bank transfer I dont expect anyone to walk around London with £1600 in cash

Also this, as long as using Special Delivery it is £750 insurance by default? And up to £2500 insurance for some small additional charge, just ask for the up to £2500 compensation when sending.
