Came across this and thought they were quite sought after, ergo a good price for someone? I could be wrong of course...

BBP are notoriously expensive I'm afraid.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Thank you for your comments,  I had always thought these were quite rare looking elsewhere.  Truth is, I have a set that I inherited, so nothing lost. Just scrap plus a bit for proof then ?

Maybe lead with that for the experienced members to help you. They’re decent fellows.
when you bring BBP into the conversation, it gets overlooked.

Hi there, nice set you have inherited.  Certainly worth a large premium over spot- if in excellent condition, a raw set I would say £4k on a bad day.

Probably around £4100-£4300 if in excellent condition.

But if you where to grade them and they got all PF70s you could expect £6k plus

If ever looking to grade, reach out to @GoldDiggerDave

Thanks for the link there James. Alas they won't ever reach that grade as I added the half sov as it was missing from the set. The half was bought as proof but in terms of grading I'm a pleb 😄

If they were passed down from your father, then they are priceless. Keep them as along as you can.

Thanks. Tbf I was  never touting but can see how people thought I might be.

I used to like vintage watches till they got too expensive.  Luckily I got 2 though back in the day 😀
