New Member Introduction

Hello Silver Forum,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I work in the bullion industry (though this is my personal account so I'll keep myself shrouded in mystery which I hope people will understand).

I've been a fan of the forum for a while so I thought I'd join up and add my knowledge and experience where I can, and fill in gaps with the vast wealth of knowledge shared here.

Currently I own a small amount of silver (I'm particularly fond of 10oz silver coins), but plenty of knowledge on gold too. I look forward to chatting in the future.

I think you guys are a lot more clued up than most people to be honest. One of the biggest misconceptions generally seems to be that all of the premium is somehow profit for us, or even that if one dealer has a higher premium than another that also constitutes automatically a higher profit. It's rare I see any mistakes or confusion like that last long on here though, there's always someone ready to point people in the right direction, and I'll do what I can.

Thanks, I enjoy a bit of teasing and banter, which seems to be welcome here, and I do want there to be some basis for my claims/experience as and when I jump into a thread. If my employer is happy for me to reveal where I work then I will also update my information accordingly.

I'd just leave it, I interact with loads on here and ain't got a clue what they do for a living apart from Lawrence Chard.. he antagonises people for a living and works a side hussle as a dealer 🤣

I wish we got free samples! Though I think if I hit 5 years I do get a set of 5 silver coins. Currently at 4 years and 1 month so nearly there.
