Just to add Backyardbullion offers an intermediary service which includes verifcation of goods etc. which may be of use to you.

However i would say that i too would trust @James32 i'm not entirely convinced by his sense of humour yet 😉 but i have no doubts as to his integrity.  Everyone that has offered here are people that will follow through on the trade.  

The first few times of sending cash on this site i was indeed very nervous and felt it was a massive leap of faith but its a very effective self-governing environment and as someone who intends to trade both ways in the future you can learn alot from people that follow good practice in selling.  I'm far more concerned with being able to verify goods on exit from me than i am with the behaviours of others with feedback, preserving a good reputation is an insurance of finanical liquidity (and also just means doing the right thing)

Thanks everyone, unfortunately my wifes mum died today so we have not been on here all day. We have agreed a couple of smaller deals to get things going.

We have trusted many members on here with thousands in the past so we are all for the spirit of trust and we are not new members with no transaction history we are just mostly buyers and we have been inactive for a year or 18 months. 

We will consider sending smaller amounts to people first but I think we will leave that decision to another day and approach people who have made such offers on tomorrow or Monday, if they are still interested.
