The Great Gold Britannia Charity Coin £75,000 Give-Away

Recommended Posts

Given the person wants to remain anonymous it would suggest they are donating for all the right reasons. You would think anyone in their position, who knows about bullion, would sell the gold and make a direct cash donation with proceeds? Reducing the potential of the charity getting ripped off trying to exchange for fiat and saving them the hassle. Given the coins were Brits, there would be no issues with the person selling and capital gains which was the only possible reason I could think of for taking said route.

Anyways, nice gesture.

I was hoping you would join this thread, but I was concerned you were too busy in Birmingham.

Possibly at the BullyRing.

Actually my mothers side are all brummie's so you are closer to the truth than ya think. Isnt Birmingham also twinned with Blackpool, Karachi, Kabul and Tehran?

Chicago, USA

Birmingham - Chicago, USA
Brum, as Birmingham is known, is twinned with the windy city of Chicago - the archetypical American city.
