on STG you can arrange the listings by price per Oz so it clear what's cheapest  .... Of you are to behind a big stacker Britannia may be better even if they are slightly dearer

Its a tough one as I could buy 50 1oz bars that would match the rest of what I have but it works out about £80 more than getting 50 Britannia's

this is a tough hobby

I'm not an ogre.

You should bide your time. 'A fool and his money are soon parted!'

You just missed out on some great deals from Highland Tiger. Under spot gold.

Keep an eye on the classifieds. Arshimo and Madstacks have great deals.

So many people join the forum, buy buy buy....spot falls and they disappear, disillusioned.

As I said, spot is high. Wait.....research, read, ask.

actually you'll be converting currency into money form so

that you can save it :). it's more fun to accumulate over

time looking for bargains. for volume coins that are new

and cgt free britannias are usually the cheapest.

Ive wasted so much money in the past on cars, watches and so on you wouldn't believe it.

I even hired a Lamborghini last month for the hell of it and what a waste of a lot of money(could have brought silver and gold instead)

If i thought about buying silver and gold over the last few years i would be even more better off now.

With this i can spend as much as i like and stock pile for the distant future, i have no plans to sell any off it and it would be cool to leave the whole lot to my kids in 30 years.

So yes I'm still spending but not wasting as this is really helping me save in a way.

Technically a Coin must be govt minted and have currency value, so privately minted rounds don't count..

Generall speaking, I find tht Kangaroos, Philharmonics or Maples carry the lowest premium.  Cheapest dealers is between silvertogo, celticgold or goldsilver.be depending on payment method and delivery preferences.

Looking at STG right now 100x Britsnnias comes in at £1606.95 where the same 100 Britannias from Goldsilver.be is 1879.00 Euros or £1487.13 so if you can get the deal done with minimun exchange rate fees Goldsilver in Belgium looks cheaper.

Since I found GS.be I haven't used STG at all, probably since the middle of last year.

After the reading the first 10 posts I wanted to also say that STG isn't he cheapest place. Seems many find somewhere and stick to it whilst they slowly increase prices. Best bet is to shop around each time you want to buy, there are various well priced bullion dealers
