closed Royal Mint - 5 oz Gothic Crown -Quartered Arms - £500 Start

Welcome all. Before I get going let me say this has been nowhere near the infamous "Dust Brush" from last week's auction, capsule never opened 😀

Up for grabs is my 5 oz Quartered Arms in lovely condition. However in the spirit of the forum I have noticed a tiny pin p**** break in the frosting towards the bottom of Queenies neck and this is only visible under magnification.

I'm starting at £500 for the only reason that it seems a good price to start and will open it up to as many people as possible and the fact I also love to see a good auction.

The auction will finish at 8pm this Saturday 2/4/22. To prevent last minute bids and sniping, if any bid is received after 7.55pm then the auction will continue for an additional 5 minutes after 8pm and likewise for an additional 5 minutes each subsequent bid after, until a clear 5 minute window is logged.

Bidding is in minimum £10 increments but you can bid more if you wish.

Payment is by BT or PPFF and I will include free SD postage.

As usual any questions or anything I have forgotten then please get in touch.

Thanks for looking and good luck if you have a bid 👍👍👍

RRP £555

IMPORTANT ADDITION

Whilst giving the coin a final once over I gave discovered an additional mark which appears to be some sort of water mark round Queenies neck under different light and angles.

I have been in touch with Coinago and recommended that he pull his bid, in light of the new photo, now that I have discovered this additional mark . Coinago has now retracted his bid but has in no way reneged on his contract or defaulted in any way.

Reputation is everything on the forum I could not sleep easy if I sold this without notifying everyone about the facts.

Anyway here's the new photo and the auction is still live but with no bids 😀

Cheers everyone
