Today I bought.....

Thanks it is a definite milestone. I had no targets as such when I started so it is fun gaining more insight and seeing what other people collect or stack. But the more I see the more I want so discipline is required..... (Which I lack lol)

God tell me about it, I started of as a pure stacker, just wanted as much silver oz for my money as possible, Now I have just gone and dropped £600 on 2 oz perth mint lunar proofs lol..Discipline is certainly required and Whilst I have some my issue Is i am impulsive.

I am afraid of moving into the collecting side of things. I could do serious damage to my wallet, but the lunar proofs are beautiful!

I have gone a bit mad this month but whenever I binge on PMs I always think that it's an asset to me rather than pissed up the wall, handed over the bookies counter etc :)

How's your average looking  :D

Not a clue lol, I have around the 500 oz mark, I bought ten 10oz koalas for £12.50 per ounce last year and also have a couple hundred ounces of scrap pre 1947 that i got for about £10 per ounce, also i found 20 oz of .800 silver for £2 quid at a boot sale so that really helped the average, But my recent buys would have ruined that price lol..Wish I kept track now., I don't actually know how many oz i own anymore.

I have sold some low premium stuff and bought proof britannia, libertad and now perth mint sets so I wouldn't be surprised if my stacks got smaller but the quality has majorly increased:)

20 x 1oz first majestic Mayan silver rounds , gotta get that cost average down a bit after my proof buying spree  B)

@

LOL, you out bid me in the last second..........doh.

But then I did get the sellers second tube he had for sale ten minutes later. I paid £13 more than you did, but I used up £12.50 of nectar vouchers and so only paid 50p more than you did :)

Like you say, a good way to help the average

I had a feeling there might be other users bidding on them!  They are slightly unusual for the UK and the kind of rounds that may carry a small premium I feel. kind of like the baird and co rounds.

You got me on the second lot:P

Also some good news is I have dealt with this guy before and his stuff last time was totally legit, had about 40 2010 britannias of him:)

We need to get organised, we probably could have saved about £30 each by not bidding against each other   :D

It's a difficult one, to find out who else is bidding, you basically have to advertise it on the forum.

There must be a way!!!

Stacker since 2013

Lol:) Possibly but I doubt it, There would have been other sniper bids setup for around our levels - and the bids didn't get placed because ours made it to high for them, I'm actually surprised they went for the price they did:)

Not often you can get silver on ebay cheaper than STG, even if its not by much.

That's what i thought. On the bid i won, I had actually placed a bid that was 66p over the bid i got it for (I had a max price I was willing to go for). If you'd bid another £1 you'd have got it......LOL

I looked at them, to turn a small profit but I was surprised a the price. well I know why now. Its no good bidding like that what you need is a rota on coins that come up that you all want.

Thing is, I didn't know about the auction until about 5 mins before the auction ended. I had no plans to spend anything on ebay tonight, let alone buying a tube of silver rounds.  :D

Theres profit left in them id say..not masses but £1.50 per coin I think.

Thats the problem, I too often don't know what i'm bidding on until the last minute, and id rather take my chances against other bidders rather than share with the whole forum and potentially have new ones.

In an ideal world a rota would be good but it would never work so I think its every man for himself on ebay.
