Yh they’re really quirky little things, If this doesn’t get taken down I reckon a few people are going to get conned. 
 

They may be covered by PP but either way still leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

The guy who proudly declares it's his eBay account could do with taking some responsibility for sorting out the mess as well... It's his account that's been compromised and is leading buyers into trouble.. Dislike that kind of lazy attitude about other peoples money.

Emailed him to ask if he knows any info as to perpetrators - if WE find out we "NAIL" them!!

Exactly, especially as it’s something people are probably wanting to gift. If I were on eBay I’d be along reporting it too!

Shame about scammers on eBay, hopefully if multiple people report any scams or non authentic items eBay will do something.

Too true @5huggy. Hell, at £18.99 if it had been genuine it would have been the bargain of the year. It’ll be the people that don’t realise it’s to good to be true to get stung by this one.

My eBay account got compromised a few years ago in this way and I posted about it on the forum back then. It took a while on the phone to eBay to sort it out. I remember trying to buy something on eBay and it asked me to re-enter my password as it looked legit. Think that's how I got caught out, never again.

Sorry to hear that - in that case you were locked out of your account, weren't you?

In this case the account holder seems to still have access to the account and is claiming someone else is using it to try to scam people, or have I missed something?

With you 100% @kimchi -- which is why I am awaiting Email response - or I will personally NAIL HIM!  - - I have given him "FAIR" warning!!
