Maybe but the cheapest new 1/4 gold coin is the britannia and it's more than £320.

The above is a valid point. Right now standard bullion brittanias are going for above the £320 mark.

16% over spot,............................having a laugh. All these new gold coins will soon lose their collectability and won't be worth much more than a few percent over spot in a few years time.

 

Unless of course you get them slabbed, for some reason mugs  collectors who buy slabbed coins love to pay wayyyyyyyyyy over the odds for their coins and bits of plastic.

If the queens dies and no other set is produced the from royal mint. 

Im trying to gauge if there will be demand, or we just move on to the king.

The Royal Mint will help keep her alive until the series is completed even if they have to supply the Palace with Oxygen bottles free of charge for a few months 🙄

(1) it is re-using JC design of 10 beast with the obverse of the King OR

(2) 10 beasts with a new outlook by another designer with the obverse of the King
