Do I need to test my gold?

I bought a little gold bullion recently from a company called Bullion by Post. I just wanted some opinion on this particular company. I did a little research; they do have a page on Wikipedia and they seem to check out all right there. It seems they have a store In Birmingham, England. The owner of the business seems to be a well known jewellery business man. Seems he's won some awards for his Bullion by Post business. I just wanted to ask if anyone thinks I should get my gold tested, or does this sound like a ligit source?

TIA

Bullion by post you should be fine in terms of the gold being real.

Absolutely agree with @Tn21 - you'll be fine with Bullion by Post, I'm sure.

I've bought from these guys myself, and they were a pleasure to do business with B)

I have bought about 10 coins from them, all new,as in 2018,2019 and all are good.also bought new coins from gold.co.uk.( I think they are sister company),again all good.gold.co.uk worth comparing prices between then as quite often cheaper than bullion by post.

If you are going to worry then take your coin to a jeweler and they can test it on their mqchine,if you feel that it might be off the test a ring you know or any jewelry you know is good before hand or after...I have a friendly jewlerwho testsallmystuff,it's all legit, even found one I got that came in at 17 but marked 18k and was onky a $700 gold tester, good thing I found it and didn't buy it, I'd be pissed.
