eavning all , im new to this silver stuff (48 hours) . ive never even thought about gold or silver , but i need to make a couple of siver knife bolsters . i saw a bullion by post advert on the tv and next thing i know theres 12 coins on the door mat :rolleyes: .not for the knife i might add .  so im sure there will be few questions . so thank you in advance

i did guess they wasnt the cheepest place to buy from 

 

as for coins , ive never seen a silver coin before so had no ideas what to buy . i just went with ten of there cheepest selection which turned out to be them philharmonic things , very boring looking they are . and a couple of them Britannia coins , they look alot better

They are an expensive option but bbp will probably put them in capsules for you.

It's worth knowing which coins are in caps from the mint and which come loose. The more generic coins come in tubes but if you buy less than a full tube most dealers will put them in plastic bags.

Mint capped coins include kooks, koalas, pandas and Perth lunars.

You can always get cheap capsules for the other coins at a later date or fill up some tubes.
