Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. I am close to completing my date run just missing the 2000 and 2008 silver brits. Higher mint years than others but seems harder to come by. If anyone has spares available I would love to hear from you.
Also looking for the 2018/2020 oriental boarder and the coronation 2023.

I saw this post earlier, and I totally agree with @Spyder - like it or not, this is an unpopular format for gold coins. On top of that it's an impaired proof - you will be fortunate to get a penny over spot for it.
I'd just list it and see what happens.

Well, I have seen on a few occasions recently, on here bullion sovs sell for a heafty premium. 
I think one a week ago for £3100 ish. 
So definitely worth while "going through" dates and mints if you have a lot to go through. 
I would agree with the first part of this topic though. 
I have bought and sold gold £2's on here recently too for spot, or just under. 
Yes, some of them are interesting designs but don't hold the premium from when they are first out at the mint. I've learned that that hard way in the past buying 50ps directly from the mint. But if I like the sign and meaning on a coin, I might pay that bit of extra premium. 
It just takes the right buyer really. 👍

You have asked for feedback so I will give an honest opinion to you, but first I will say that the £2 gold coin is a hard sale to get a premium over spot and this is even in graded format.  You are asking for sovereign swap which is the easiest coin to sell and on top you want someone to pay for their postage to you and your postage to them.  Can not see it myself.  
I would just list the coin for sale and use the proceeds to buy the sovereigns.  Good luck
