  1. Monday Madness - £135 delivered SD. Can post on Wednesday. Won't be going any lower - the SD is going to cost me £12, so effectively selling this for £123! I purchased this coin bar on the forum a week or so ago, it's a cool thing, but not really for me. 4oz Baird & Co bar with a 2015 Brit in the middle. In a case within a really nice box - 5oz of of really well presented silver. Looking to sell for the £150 I paid. SD included. I can post tomorrow (Saturday) or else it will be Wednesday. BT please. The box could pretty easily be modified to hold about 20 proof sovs in capsules I reckon, if you were inclined to do so... Cheers.
  2. Is the greyhound for sale?
  3. Can I have the Dragon pls? It's the rectangular one isn't it?
  4. I think the Krugerrand is a very underrated coin. I have a couple of yellow ones, a few bullion ones, but this is my first proof... 2020, first year, 2oz Silver proof, an absolute peach of a coin imo.
  5. Only actually read this thread for the first time this morning and delighted to see a happy ending. Although I'm not the most active or vocal on the forum, I've been here a while, and must admit I'd have been devastated/furious had this happened to me. It was nice to see the OP handle it with dignity and a calm head, and the forum help to get it sorted. I've said it before, but this forum is the best fiver I spend a month!
  6. OK thanks. All the good stuff gone!
  7. I don't know how may items I've seen listed for auction and thought 'I'll keep an eye on that' and then totally forgot about it... Personally I'd just list for sale, as previously mentioned, most people on here know exactly what something is worth, and everyone wants a bargain. Times are also tough for some at the moment. You could invite sensible offers if no interest in a day or two. This is why I generally only buy generic bullion unfortunately.
  8. Amazing. At 70oz/month you are going to have to start thinking about storage...😀
  9. I hadn't bought silver for a while, what with all the sovereign business recently, and was missing it. Picked up the carded celebration bar from @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer, the raw one from Atkinson$. Then thought that now is as good a time as any to finally get round to picking some queen's beasts to add to my Unicorn and Completer...so the Falcon & Bull again from Atkinson$ and the Lion from @9x883, who was a gent to deal with.
  10. Lots of tudor beasts still available at RM...
  11. BU for me. The matt finish is lovely. Of course if 'both' was an option...
  12. Or to paraphrase Andrew Carnegie - 'keep all your eggs in one basket and keep a very close eye on it.' He did OK, so can't be bad advice...
  13. They are nice sets, generally very cheap for what they are in my opinion. I have a few - years that are special to me - kids birth etc. I'm not sure I'd collect them all as previously mentioned, some ain't very nice, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Also worth considering that they take up a fair amount of real estate. As also mentioned, they will never make you rich and you need to be careful not to overpay.
  14. Anyone who signed up to a huge mortgage and took anything less than a 5 year deal since mid-late 2020 when it became obvious what was coming was either blinded by greed or given abysmal financial advice. Ever since I have been paying a mortgage I have always taken 10 year deals. I am happy to pay a little more in the knowledge that I can actually afford it and have a decade of peace of mind. I suppose it depends on your attitude to risk, but gambling with my children's home is not a risk I'm willing to take.
